Sheldon was on X Factor Australia and briefly on team Adam when Adam Lambert was a judge/mentor. Even though Sheldon didn't go too far back then (2015?), I think Sheldon said in an interview that Adam gave him so much good advice even after he was eliminated. Would love to see them sing together.

Taking the runs out of the performance was a mistake. If she wanted him to dial it back a bit, maybe...but u don't say go big or go home and have Sheldon Riley not sing any runs on big notes. He did brilliant on 7 rings though. I give her props for that one. He got to stay away from his shaky lower register. She believed in him waay more than George did. Aside from that mistake about the runs, she was great for Sheldon.

Rarely in my life have I ever heard anyone singing anything this emotionally. He was SO nervous, and his performance was sheer brilliance and authenticity.
