Doctor Stewart actually called Fraust by his name in the end. Only after listening to dozens of these have I realized just how tethered the Foundation is to procedure, down to only referring to them as their full SCP designation and ignoring their real names. So it's a small but meaningful gesture for Dr. Stewart to call Fraust by his name, in addition to putting him with his other effects
@nibblrrr71242 жыл бұрын
It's actually spelled "Fraust". But you're exactly right, breaking protocol like that is notable.
@GunRunner1062 жыл бұрын
if it means that the scp in question becomes more stable and controllable, then the foundation usually doesn't have a problem with allowing such a request especially when all the items are also none anomalous - it just becomes part of the containment procedures. mhm.

The Foundation's cold approach in treating even sentinel anomalies as just a "thing" rather than a "entity" is probably efficient for it's goals but has it's drawbacks. Many people only get treated as a thing rather than a person. The Foundation likely does this in an attempt to make the job easier, but it probably worsens the views the anomalies hold of the Foundation

They could have just put the hat with the clothes in a cardboard box in any random locker to comply with Fraust's request, but with the details of the hardwood wardrobe and semi-monthly airing of the clothes and inspection for damage...that's an exceptional level of care and respect shown to an SCP that we don't have even proof is aware of its surroundings, more than we have seen towards many other sentient scips. Honestly made me tear up when I realized it.

I loved how the groups hub page looked like a flyer FOR the circus. It completely took me over, drawing me in more and more with every entry I read. All the characters are so fleshed out, and the ties the group has to other groups (MCD, Dr. Wondertainment) made me realize just how deep the wiki goes. Safe / Euclid / Keter isn't about how dangerous they are, it's just how hard they are to contain, It's Euclid because people could wear the hat at any time like what happened with the breach so it being Euclid makes sense because once someone puts on the hat the scp would just vanish and escape again
@ScarlettDeLion2 жыл бұрын
@@hex1 I've been viewing it as "desire" as well as ability. Example, 096 can't be stopped until whatever saw its face is dead, still Keter but a "safe" keter. You put 096 in a box and it's content to just stay in said box. Meanwhile 682 is straight up keter and wants to murderize everyone's face all the time. It wants out of its box and will do whatever possible to get out of its box. Finally this SCP. While it has the ability seems to not have the desire. As far as the ending goes it seems like if a researcher has D-4467 put on the hat, it won't manifest at all, or will manifest just long enough to say "I'd like to be put back in my box please." Based on the whole "what happens when you put it in a box" system it would fall closer to safe as opposed to Euclid

Up to this point we didn't know exactly how the circus of the disquieting moved around let alone functioned and how they were able to keep track of all of their clowns as well as their assets now we know. I would have to say the top hat is probably something old very old dare I say it was probably owned by Alistair Crowley himself the world's foremost thermatologist through the 1800s to the 1900s I believe I'm not sure.
