What is Horizon: Survival Mode Expanded?
Horizon is a large scale overhaul of Fallout 4 that rebalances and expands the gameplay from the ground up. It contains thousands of changes, redesigned systems, and new additions to very carefully balance everything together. The goal of this mod is to create a more challenging and immersive experience.
Horizon adds new difficulties and challenges to Fallout 4 survival mode, which ultimately makes it a much more immersive experience. Difficulty can be selected during mod installation and increases incoming damage on the player. Desolation mode adds another layer of difficulty.

Sorry for the delays in videos guys! I am working on an updated survival mode guide - just basic survival mode, that goes over every aspect of the game and how to maximize your experience and make survival as easy as possible, but that's understandably taking a while to make - I'm editing through about 30 hours worth of gameplay for it! I have been getting a ton of questions on my old survival mode guide that I made on Reddit 8 years ago though, and I think it will help a lot of people stepping into survival for the first time, so it's something I want to get done.

i'll definitely be interested to see your take on it. i spent so long playing only the PS4 version, so it translated into a lot of time manipulating survival mode, enough to know that i don't know all the mechanics and secrets.

For the live animals, if you're going for food grinding them up is the only thing I've found so far, but I could be missing something. That being said there's one other use for them that was good for a one time thing. They can be sold through the trading terminal for vendor credits. What I did, and your mileage may very, was I sold enough of them to get enough vendor credits to upgrade one or two of the places in Concord to the point where they had renters and were generating vendor credits for me. The main street one by the hardware store is another good one for vendor credit generation. Even a little coming in each cycle helps make further upgrades come easier. I have all of Concord upgraded fully now and while it's nice it takes a ton of vendor credits to do it. Plus if nothing else a vendor credit income let's you afford other things from the trading terminal. On the side of the plasma rifle, you may want to try firey plasma cells. Overall they do a tiny bit more damage, only 5 more fire, however a larger percentage of the damage is fire damage and enemies seem to have less fire resistance than ballistic/energy resistance.

I got the shotgun recently from the raider boats over between nordhagen and nahant the french named one does extra limb damage, never knew it was there but seems pretty good with the cryo as well shooting legs freezing and doing extra crit with shotguns

Heya Wanderer, i can absolutely recommend renaming the Weapons/armor you use yourself. It removes so much "clutter" to your inventory. Simply giving a Weapon the same name again will prevent all these "i added this mod etc." and shortens the name, makes it much more obvious which are the guns you use and which you just looted and may want to scrap.

Great Content as always, but a random question and prob been answerd and missed it in the many uploads. Im trying to get a doctor in my settlement. Ive built the Medical Station, gone into build (holding V) and selected people in the settlement and tried to send them to the Medical Station but no luck. I also have a Doctors Contract but cluless on how to use. Any help appreciated.
