Four hours long? Part 1? I'm ready. Long comment because this was a long video (and I don't make reaction/commentary videos). Lore sure is a marketing tactic, but it kept a lot of people engaged through the drought. Highly recommended: SuA's SinB's Eclipse Theory series. The law of creation CFs were cringy, but not really inappropriate, and were the beginning of LOONATheWeapons, which continues 'til now. Around You (first version) is probably the lowest viewed solo MV because the music doesn't come in until halfway through, so people who want to hear the whole song have to listen to it separately. JJ didn't choose a frog for Yeojin, it happened because she kept using a frog in her autograph after the MV, so she kind of accidentally chose it for herself. ViVi's career started earlier than that, she was 14. Whether that was rizcha's thing or not, there were definitely Viian photos that would be inappropriate for an idol (none of the shoots you posted photos from, though). Jinsoul debuting after Lippie because of her dance isn't speculation, she straight up said it on Fab. I unironically adore "Do You Remember When We First Met?", episode 4 of both s1 and s2 deserve awards. The K/I-fan wars were definitely a time. I forget where it was (maybe Blip?), but stats showed that the majority of LOONA's support was international starting with Kim Lip, so if BBC stayed focused on the domestic market, LOONA would've remained super nugu. I don't think K-fans were justified there. Fun Yves fact: she's one of only a very few (openly) Buddhist Korean idols, which is awesome for a Buddhist Orbit. Femme & Fatale wasn't the repackage title, it was the original title for Beauty & the Beat, we never found out what the repack name would be. "The LOONA Sound" is a big topic and one day maybe I'll do a video on it, but it definitely does exist, and definitely is not just an association with Monotree (it mostly has to do with how effects chains are set up and using unexpected spatial effects on some channels). Oh, Bambi! She wasn't any of those people. For her privacy I won't mention her name, but she came out (as both Bambi and bi) on OneHallyu after it was all over, and asked people to not make her a public thing. Oh Bambi. I remember people analyzing Loona TV and speculate that Bambi was likely selected for YYXY due to some sightings of her during YYXY MV shoots and the final member test photoshoot for YYXY having her there as an option and not having Hyeju at all from what one could tell. i fell into the orbit of loona just before so what/# dropped and dutifully streamed and voted through why not? era, watched the obvious rigging of queendom 2 (rewatching pose made me find this video in the recommended!)...when flip that got its win, it felt like maybe loona was going to finally start getting the recognition they deserved. i even managed to see them live in london (I vividly remember everyone making jokes about the real queen(s) were about to come out as the venue announcer tried in vain to get us to give lizzy an 1 minute silence) despite how overworked and injured the girls were. ofc we were all worried for chuu and knew blockberry was fcked but noone could have predicted how sudden the collapse was (I mean, part of the that speed was just the sheer discipline/willpower/love of us orbits to starve blockberry's legal funds, loona union, etc, all for the girls). I'm glad they're all out now and can at least make/have made some decisions about their own careers and futures, even if its unlikely we'll see an ot12 song ever again. I still follow kpop but I don't think I'll ever have that level of emotional connection to a group again
