is it possible to do the same but with a tibetan snake knot? i made a camera strap with that knot and it's very nice and comfortable and flexible. the cobra knot is a lot more stiffer

Quick question: is a paracord working station (for buckling, measuring distance, etc) useful for someone just wanting to weave only occasionally? Thanks, great work!

It doesn't look like you have 17' of cord. It seems much shorter. What is the actual working length?

Just found this channel, pretty cool stuff here. Which project would you recommend for a beginner at this?
@peacefuljeffrey3 жыл бұрын
This is not too complicated for a beginner. MOST beginners start with Cobra pattern projects.

Hi! do you think it will work as a handle for a large dog leash?
@TheWeaversofEternity3 жыл бұрын
Of course! I don't see why it wouldn't work. :)
@rickjoyce6373 жыл бұрын
How do you estimate the amount of cord you would need for a dog leash? I know how to estimate for a regular 2 core bracelet but this looks like it would be 4 cores until you get to the handle portion. Just double the amount?

I really can't figure out how to make the wrist loop. I don't understand when he says work your way around the loop to where the split started. What split?!?! And what do I do with the other 2 core strand loops that I separated?! I really wish he would have shown the whole process lol
@TheWeaversofEternity3 жыл бұрын
Hey I apologize if that part wasn't clear, but if you pause at 3:11 you can see that out of the 4 strands, the two middle have been brought forward a little and the two outer strands of the 4 have been separated to the back. You then continue tying cobra knots around the 2 in front and go all the way around.
@peacefuljeffrey3 жыл бұрын
I never mash my melted cord ends. I carefully melt the tips so that they form bulbs that are larger than the cord diameter. I never have problems with them pulling out, but they are MUCH MORE ATTRACTIVE-LOOKING than mashed cord ends are.
@raymondvanwyk861510 ай бұрын
i still struggle to figure out what you did to finish it because you skip a good amount of frames so i have no idea how you ended up making the knot
@TheWeaversofEternity10 ай бұрын
I apologize for that part not being clear! You just keep tying cobra knots all the way to the end and if you want to do the clean finish like I did (which is optional), you can see it more clearly here: kzbin.infoekjiSl2NMzk
