You'll like them. We have two of them as well, one for me and one for the wife. The only problem with them is storage space, but that was typical until the four door JKU came along. And with things like racks and trailers that can be overcome. The TJs are just more fun to drive, in my opinion.

One of the best family off roading videos I've seen. I'm rolling on 32" ko2s on my '05 TJ Rocky Mtn. And it just goes to show you, most don't need huge tires to wheel, it's about skill and taking the right line. The aftermarket has tricked everyone into thinking you need at least 33's and upwards of 40's. O|||||||O 🇺🇸ONLY IN A 2 DR🇺🇸 '41 - '06

I love this video! It looks as though you're in Arizona. Most think of Arizona as desert... which the desert trails are incredibly harsh. But Arizona has a vast landscape of forest as well, with equally harsh trails as depicted in your videos. If you could recommend the most valuable modifications that made your jeep offroad worthy, what would they be? Cosmetics or comfort should not be a factor in how you answer (although they may be impacted by the answer). Let's say, the top 3 modifications that you found to be the most valuable to make this TJ more off road capable. Thank you for responding!
@ATEMOFFROAD Жыл бұрын
Welcome to the channel my apologies for the late response, the top 3 mods would mostly be larger tires, suspension driveshaft and winch upgrades . With these three items available, confidence in navigating obstacles is much greater, although the jeep in stock form is still very capable. 🍻

Thank you sincerely. Both those videos had me face palming 🤦♂️ myself at the ease of this modification. Looks like an awesome list of videos...I'll be watching and learning. I need to re-gear my TJ...Nothing drastic, probably 4.11, but I plan to put a Detroit TrueTrac in the rear, to replace the LSD and a Detroit E-Locker in the front...I should have done it a long time ago, but with two kids growing up and now in university...($$$)...What are you going to do?
@ATEMOFFROAD3 жыл бұрын
my tj is geared 410, open diff in the front d30 and locked in the rear D44 Detroit truetrac g2 axle. What would I like to do 🤔, that’s a good question , I’d like to go Detroit e locker in the front and rear for selection. And get away with the d30 swap for d44 in the front! But I figured if I’m going that route I may end up going full width jk axles or tons especially if I’m going to spend over a certain amount on the set up! 4:88 seems like a good all around gear.

Are these 31s on both with 4 inches of lift? Are you pretty happy with the tire size? I have always wanted 35s, but I think I am planning on 33s for simplicity.
