interesting on that steering correction bracket, I have a 1.25" BL and the rubber gasket will not fit in my firewall. Just ordered one on amazon to see if this is my solution. Ive also had slightly decreased steering characteristics but I also recently bent my tie rod offroad so thought there could be something else going on. good video thanks man

Awesome, your tie rod would definitely contribute, im not to sure what gasket your talking about? the 1” riser bracket in my case definitely helped tighten up my steering at the wheel. I was impressed. if you bought the Hooke road riser bracket, beware they sent me a 3” and not a 1” riser, 3” is the one you seen in the video. I sent it back and just modified mine. Oh Actually I think your talking about the steering column shaft boot? , when you take your bracket off the shaft will be loose you should be able to get that boot back on if it’s the one your talking about

I’m a little confused on the tow hooks. What’s wrong with your red shackles as a recovery point?

Those aren’t ties into the frame like the hooks are, they can be used but the hooks are more reliable, especially for tugging in the snow.
