A great WF episode would be: The Battle for Currency. A deep dive into the history of the U.S. dollar, starting before the Revolution through today. Who controls it, why, the ramifications, and who has suffered the "Bank's" wrath when they try to do something about it.
@wrongturnVfor

Doont we already know everything about the petrodollar and dirty saudi deal. I thought everyone knew that is WHY obama bin laden did the arab spring and made and example out of gaddafi. Beccause he wanted to go on the gold backed pan African currency. The HQ of which was in Benghazi. That is why they are after Assad. And that is why they went after Saddam Hussein after arming him for decades. We know about the illegal sanctions used by the gvt to starve countries into submission. From 1945 to 1990 75% of the 200 sanctions were illegal unilateral sanctions by US and allies. In 2015 100% of the 200 sanctions in ONE year were unilateral illegal sanctions by US and allies. Right now we have so many illegal sanctions that violate the rules of WTO we created. Which is why Obama continued to block the appointment of authorities in the appellate court. So American corporate Reich can continue pushing countries into dent, taking over their economies and forcing them to use their economy and their population as slave labor for maintaining western companies in neo colonialism. All possible thanks to Bretton Woods where the debtor is the only party who had to change its practices and $ being the global currency. So we can endlessly print our way to largest colonial army in the world. All of it run by investors who are also investing in Cchina. Which is why it is no surprise China is also running on the same playbook these days. But sure, I guess there still might be things to learn about it.

Yep, I was close with the bunkmate of a mafioso, they lived together for about 20 years. You would never know. The mafioso was the one who bombed the trains etc. and got imprisoned during the 80's international operation. Met people who are 60+ that spoke Napoletana who lived in Italy for decades, yet one would assume they're just ignorant fucks from the dead middle of Anatolia. I literally couldn't believe my ears and I've studied at UNIFI. They were very well connected with the deep state here in Bird land too.

Grandfather was Chief of Police in a suburb of Cleveland and they tried to kill him Via Restaurant bombing I was also a grunt in the Marine Corps/oef and oif combat veteran, and held a TSC when I was posted with a JSOC command in Somalia. I say all this to ask, what are you referring to exactly because I highly doubt you had any more exposure to anything than I would have military wise and in terms of the mob sing my family was always on the side of fighting against the Sicilian crime families, and it's not as if I have some privileged information that you apparently do , hate to say it buddy but I'm calling BS

Obviously the content is amazing, but one of my favorite things about rewatching is noticing the little details that you and your team have done to make the best documentaries I've ever seen. I paused at 5:45 on this one because of the background music and how the bass note always hit on the right word while you were talking about communism and government collapse. 0 seconds ago Went on a journey of research into the CIA after watching a video on the finders cult. Your vid about the aviary really helped elevate my understanding to a new level. Thanks for all the knowledge over the years. Took you a while to finally get into operation gladios and I’m glad you did. I think that this is really the one operation I know of so far (next to Guatemala and the United Fruit Company) where everything really starts to make sense and it all starts to come together. That the US government wasnt scared of the Soviet Union but rather the spread of democratically-driven, grass roots socialist movements. Reading about McCarthyism in highchool was a really big red flag hinting at this. If they truly were scared of Soviet influence/invasion then they’d themselves start partaking in more socialist policies so that the largely socialist masses in the west don’t become proponents of the soviets. Instead they kept steering further away from socialism towards neoliberalism against the will of the people and forced all their allied governments, literally at gunpoint, to do so too. It was never about the Soviet Union, it was about the money. It was about the fact that the US was building a neocolonial network of vassal states that wouldn’t be possible if the victim country had a strong socialist government (which includes unionisation / democratisation of the workplace, 1 person 1 vote parliamentary system, protectionist policies that don’t fall in line with free trade model that has enslaved the third world, and a well-regulated economy that has things like worker safety standards, minimum wage, environmental protection agencies, etc. All these legitimate socialist parties that were democratically elected were subverted by the US/CIA from Congo, to Chile, Iran, the entire pan-Arabist movement, all the way to even highly developed Western Eu countries like France, Germany, England, Italy, etc. All these countries had legitimate, non-militant, institution-driven, democratically elected socialist parties but this wasn’t in the interest of the neo-colonial model that was making a lot of money for oligarchs in the US and Western Europe. There are other details that you didn’t have time to cover that attest to this fact like how old money nobility and oligarchs in Western Europe also had close ties to the CIA. Not just the Vatican, mafia, and extremist right-wing governments. NOW ITS TIME YOU MAKE A VIDEO ABOUT THE FINDERS CULT. Blameitonjorge has a good video on it where my CIA journey began.

The game will always produce the winner they chose in the first place. And the level of ignorance they keep all of us at from the true reality of what's going is astronomical in depth.. It would take a dozen lifetimes or more to fully wake up to the truth that they've for centuries covered with lies and propaganda. Knowing that should make you feel very small and insignificant but don't fret you're not alone.... The great awaking is coming.

You know, in my humble opinion, the best thing you can ever learn from AJ and Hecklefish is that one must listen to the entire story. Leaving in the middle of the video doesn't give you half the story. It gives you one of three sides of the story. You will be convinced in something that may or may not be completely accurate. The 2nd half is when you hear the opposing point. Then you finally get ideas which assist in forming your own opinion.

This was a risky episode, and I am so glad you took it because it did not disappoint! I was pleasantly surprised to see you mention the drugs intentionally placed in black communities and even more surprised you went in on the Kennedy assassinations. I know we keep asking for it, but a full episode or at least one that dissects the Kennedy assassinations with the murders of MLK, Malcom x and heck the CIA battle against the black panthers to stoke race wars, would be not only something, but kinda a poignant reminder of how propaganda can be used to destabilize communities and take the fuel out of populist ideas. Not to mention, it would be perfect for the times we’re living in now. Anyway, thanks AJ for working so hard to get these out over the holiday weekend ✨

@missym877

@@coryhoggatt7691Of course there’s always one. You’re making up imaginative arguments. AJ didn’t CLEARLY state any of what you claimed. You can go back and rewatch since you’re clearly hard of hearing. The CIA DID NOT DENY drugs were intentionally placed into the black community, it denied ITS involvement. Two different things, and very clearly spelled out in this video. The CIA’s denial of such clandestine operations is also the very point of the video, yet I don’t see you denying anything else presented here. Color me surprised. Unlike you, AJ isn’t biased in highlighting the U.S. governments hypocrisy and actions targeting innocent civilians, or its own population. As I said, there’s always the one and like I said before, THANK YOU AJ for mentioning the CIA’s role in introducing drugs into the black community in the 1970s.

Wow, really? You made me want to do a side quest because I really don't know much about the Netherlands role /or/ relation to alot of these topics (which means that's a great topic to learn about next).

@@carter_1 Gladio (Netherlands) Country: Netherlands Details of Formation: The group was established after World War II. Details of Termination: After the fall of the Berlin Wall and due to the Gladio affair in Italy, the PGM was dissolved. Purpose: The group as part of a “stay-behind” network that was intended as a fighting force prepared to counter a possible Warsaw Pact invasion. In this case, it was meant to conduct guerilla warfare and sabotage activities. In the Netherlands the group also conducted secret surveillance and was responsible for the security of secret arms caches. Organisation: The PGM was coordinated by NATO and run by the military secret services in close cooperation with the CIA and British Secret Intelligence Service. The group conducted joint operations with Belgium and was overseen by civilian authorities from 1967. Weapons and Training: The group trained with the US Green Berets and the British Special Air Services (SAS) and was equipped from underground arms caches. Those contained weapons such as guns, pistols and explosives. Size: -- Reason for Membership: -- Treatment of Civilians: The group was responsible for the secret surveillance of civilians and organizations. Other Information: The first speculations about the Netherlands’ Gladio involvement began when arms caches were discovered in 1980 and 1983. Evidence mentions two joint operations with the UK between 1985 and 1990. The network of groups may have some semi-official status within the intelligence community. This status is not recognized but instead hidden even from some domestic governments and prime ministers. The groups were ultimately answerable to NATO-CIA rather than to domestic governments in event of an attack by members of the Warsaw Pact. AJ, I commend you, I think what you are doing is brilliant. Presenting public facts without committing treason or giving away military/government secrets that many of us might not discover for ourselves because the powers that be would prefer these public facts to be kept hidden. You are opening the eyes of every open minded person who watches the Why Files. I respect the hell out of you for presenting the information in such a way that we, the viewers can connect the dots for ourselves rather than just telling us to accept any one view blindly. I see so many influencers that just want people to believe them without showing evidence, and that to me is just as bad as the government telling the Accociated press what they can and can't report. Seeing these connections you bring to the light is just what we the people need if we're going to ever stand up and be true patriots instead of having the wool pulled over our eyes by those who are supposed to represent us in government and protect us from harm. As Benjamin Franklin once said, “It is the first responsibility of every citizen to question authority.” Just be careful. While you aren't exposing anything that isn't already public knowledge, some people (if you can call them that) don't like it when citizens make those connections and see what's going on. As you know many people who have made some noise have met untimely ends. Stay vigilant, be careful, but don't ever stop doing what you're doing. We love you, man. AJ, Hecklefish, from the bottom of my heart, I just want to say back atcha: Be safe, Be kind, and remember that you are appreciated!

A recent chapter of a series I'm reading just came out today. In that chapter there is a character in their world who is considered a tyrant god and his subjects can't resist his commands no matter what. He says something to them who are attempting to revolt because they were lied to, "The most important thing isn't the truth or people's feelings. What really matters above all else is who controls the truth." While watching this episode, about half way through, it came to mind and man did it ring a bell.

People in power never learn…”he who digs a pit will fall into it, he who rolls a stone will have it roll back on him.” I’m totally for having the strongest military in the world to defend our country but when governments, including our own, go down the road of doing evil in secrecy it never ends well and it never will.

As a second generation Italian American immigrant who grew up listening to the horror stories from my Italian grandfather and Estonian grandmother I am getting a much clearer understanding of what they went through to come here. My great grandmother came over after my grandfather was discharged from the military and was a bitter old lady who degraded my grandmother because of her nationality. I never understood how they ended up together and had 7 children. There seemed to be no love between them. But they both were in the service and met somewhere in Germany married and had their first born. Then immigrated to USA. But what they must have gone through was nothing compared to what they actually talked about. Especially my grandmother who was Jewish in her country. So sad. It always made me grateful for the sacrifices they made to land me here now. ❤

I think with enough caveats reporting on stuff that happened fifty years ago should be safe, stay clear of the twenty first century. Maybe having a C.I.A. is important for the success of the United States but maybe an internal re-think of the acceptable goals and methods is called for. Having patriots killing and ruining the lives of patriots is fkd up.

As I grew up, the word "Mafia" was supposed to be a myth. The community around me was silent on this word and all that it meant. However, in the streets and around the neighborhoods, it was common knowledge that the "Family" took care of everyone and if you had ties to the "Family" there was no escape. If they asked you to do something, you had no choice you would do it (dire threats were issued). With the core tenent of "Snitches get stiches" nobody was willing to blow any whistle. I see the "social scorecard" a dangerous return/replacement to that Hellish system.
