Great to see you back on the line Andrew. Thats the same machine that I used when I trapped. A Yamaha 250 Bravo. That 250cc single banger was awesome on fuel economy. Very dependable and truely amazing breaking trail in deep snow. I put a thumb warmer on mine and it worked well. Good luck on your season.

Good Luck on the Line.... Marlin 336 is My go to Rifle for the brush country.... My hunting partner shot are 2010 Moose in VT w/ a 30-30 Fed. Fusion 170 Round, Cow one shot right between the eyes... I had my Rem 30-06 and didn't even get to see it before he dropped the hammer....She was good eatting feed his family and mine all winter.... Greetings from NC Tim

I would also like to say I think your sets are starting to look a lot more professional this year as well. I was Darn .. that is a nice looking and well thought out set you make for the wolverine .. 3 way death trap for him. And I think your two snares you show making for the lynx were very well done as well .. GOOD Job man .. A little scent goes a long way .. the animals are there for the bait, but the lure sure tells them dinner is ready.

Love your vids Andrew. Porcupine are excellent eating.Some skin them and burn the skin , the local Innu swinge them over an open fire and with a long blade knife scrape the burnt quills off. The black bears rips the martin boxes from the tree's here,have to make new boxes every year.Good price for fur this year.Keep the vids coming buddy,take care.

I was begining to think you might have given up on trapping this winter with all the work you had in town., Good to see ya back out on the line making fur. Good choice in weapons with the 30-30 though the lever actions can be trickey if you do not rack them fully to eject the spent round. .. I was sorta worried when your other gun had the fireing pin froze up on ya and would not shoot when you tried to take out that wolverine. Good thing cousin had his gun at the ready for ya ..

hey its nice to see you have decided to trap the rest of the year i enjoy your videos and i need a new machine too my fly wheel is gone and its getting fixed but we have replaced the plug coil the rubber tube that goes to the carb and the stater and it needs a new track now too so and of corse we just got about 18 inches more so we have a lot of snow and before i could get the quads around but now we cant so my traps are sitting right now which i dont like and i sucks, in other word good luckman

You are right about the Bravo and not only are they good on gas, but they dont break down as often like the ski-doo and we had one of the first ski-doo 7.5 horse Chalet (sp) it did not break down to much but once we got the bigger ones. Now I'm not knocking Ski-doo but when I got my Bravo in 82 It was a totally different machine.Could you tell us on a toppo were your line is,I like to follow that way or even on a NWT map.I cant get out so I need your videos. Ouch...Hurts watching that money walk away...Them porcupine quills worth alot, if organized by size&dyed...Porcupine quill boxes the size of a drinking mug sells for $80(canadian frogskins),if sold in the city. BirchQuill basket sells for 300-500$(Coffee Can Size)..Good vid, the youth missed yer vids.
