Congrats on the Lynx Andrew. If you are worried about ruts in the trail from your wheeler, tow a short log behind you or make a groomer it will smooth them ruts right out in the trail. Thanks for sharing the video's. Look forward to more.

Lucky bugger you'd be one lucky guy to find a grouse sitting still for a headshot in southern Ontario. Pricks flush like lightning and you are lucky to take a wing shot before they disappear into thick brush in 2 seconds hahahha. Killer video man. Thanks for taking the time to record for us.

I've only eaten moose once. Best meat I've ever had. I have family in Northern Ontario who hunt and trap. Also catch minnows. Wish I could do that one day. But I often find myself thinking of just heading out east in Nova Scotia to live instead of north. Great video, keep it up dude!

another great day on the line for sure, You're bang-on about the mink, I love handling mink. Hope you get that old Bravo running good, because they great on gas and normally tough as nails.... But when a machine gets sick and don't get better, it might be time to light that tank. haha

+NLGhostWolf If you go through those old sleds and fix them up right they are more reliable than the new ones but if you just keep putting band-aids on the problems you start to spend all your time doing minor repairs.

Great movies, I trap around my area too for beavers, and otters. My son also traps for mink which I think is cool. I'll be moving soon and wanting to try my hand on some lynx seems pretty easy to trap them. But watching movies and actually trapping them are two totally different things. The area where I'll be moving to isn't a very good place to go trapping I'll have to travel about 30 miles to start a trap line, and figure out who's trap line I might be stepping over to say.

Love the inukshuk by the river and the Alice Cooper poster in the shed! That first lynx looks more like a yearling than a kitten. Kittens, around here, are much smaller. I noticed you even had the rifle getting water. Bears that much of a problem? I appreciate the time you spend making these videos. They must be quite a lot of work to film and edit. Thanks. Be safe. If you torch the Bravo, which I wouldn't do. Film it. Yamahas are more reliable than BRP.

A trick I learned in trade tech was to spray some carb cleaner into the air filter. It works on everything. especially lawnmowers. I used it to get my sled started yesterday. And it will not blow the head like either. I know it wouldn't work for this video though. lol

Was that mink kind an odd catch for that set? I think it's time to retire that old Bravo. I remember those from the early 80's! Time to get you a good old Ski-Doo! How come you don't choke them out? I read an article about Lynx by Marty Moranno from the TV show mountain men. It was about Lynx and how rabbits play a huge part in their cycle of life. It was in Fur Fish Game, greatest outdoor mag ever!

Hey Andrew Right on your gettin a few good link ever try those power Foot snares? guess they work good too cause you can make a hanging chicken wing or rabbit fur set open cubby fast under a spruce tree...i guess the foot snares can be bigger in size for the foot easier to catch em by the paw bigger trigger less metal around however nothing wrong with a lock snare in a cubby set either the old way ! the old way seems to be way better and just as good and lynx dont last long in snare compaired to any other animal with out a power snare to boot! simple lock Snares are the best for LInk in my oppinion ...but heard when not on RTL u have to use power snares which is a big money grab if you ask me ,, ANYHow TRAP ON BROTHER!!! AND FUR IS COMING BACK IN A BIG WAY!!!! IN FASHION even on MUSIC AWARDS JLO WAS WEARING LOTS OF FUR HAAA! Good to see THE MARKET WILL ROCKET SOON!

what do you think about a pet lynx
@emcaraccioli
@emcaraccioli 8 жыл бұрын
Unlike Fox / Lynx , Lynx Cats have large strong razor sharp claws in both front and rear paws. The preferred method to subdue large felines is strangulation, with a catch / release pole / or compression, both of which are presently under fire from animals rights groups. Strangulation is the most humane, above shooting, in practice, however does present a real risk of mauling, attack , and or escape. Snaring with kill locks solves those issues.

I can no longer ship my products to Canada /// Bigfoot Snares have been banned /// restricted by Obama Administration into Canada, BC. We had several orders to BC. The last one shipped out 11/26/2015. Ebay Global Shipping program intercepted the 24 killer snares @$50 / and refused to ship them saying they are now restricted. Trouble is my client says her other orders from the U$ made it to her no problem !!! Apparently this is a brand new restriction on Global trade ??? Do you know anything ? Heard anything about this Andrew ?

Hey Andrew, truly enjoy your videos. (If I had one gripe it might be the language.) I was wondering, however, if you could do one favor. +TheWildNorth Unfortunately I was not able to meet him. How I found out that he was in the studio is we were hanging out and his limo driver started talking to us. I don't remember all the conversation but I do remember he was telling us how much he enjoyed playing golf. The studio he was at was called Amigo recording studio it was a branch of Warner Bros. records. Today the studio is no longer there it has been replaced by a large apartment complex but if you go online you can find some information about the studio. My friend and I were fortunate enough to get a tour of inside the studio back then and that is when I decided to become a sound engineer. Nowadays I work in a small studio theater with about 221 seats. You are probably asking yourself how did I come across your videos. Your dog Charlie has the same name as my dog Charlie and I was doing some videos and your video popped up and I have been watching them ever since. Keep up the good work.
