Sadguru is so amazing and yet funny. Yes he is so right in saying if we think too much of what our mind is trying to tell us if its even doing so then it will continue to entertain us non stop. However if we learn to ignore it and maybe become a silent observer then it should shut up eventually. Seem a good lesson. I guess the more we think we are the more we will realize we are not if we cultivate an attitude of truly knowing who we are. Ahaa Life is indeed sweet and for me it gets sweeter everyday as I become silent and just full joy everything.Thanks for these sessions. I am so grateful for them.

This is 1000%. You would think a phone sales reps job is to talk, but the highest earners understand that your silence is far more powerful than what you actually say. Listening and silence at critical moments throughout the call is the difference between rookies and pros.

Appreciate your valuable feedback, Alfredo! Apologies for the voice. Actually, we have no problem not adding it. Because KZbin guidelines have become so strict, this method seems to be the only way to protect the longevity of the channel, at least for now, we'd like to share more wisdom and always try the best of our ability to make it happen. Don't worry, we are reducing the voice if possible. And if you have any other suggestions, we'd be more than happy to consider them. Pranam, Team WOS

I been talking to much. I’ve been compulsive really compulsive. Why? Minor problems they can lead to serious problems. Instead of just being silent. I started yapping about Everything that is wrong with me. And I been doing this yapping to myself but my fiancé here’s me yapping. And I don’t know . But I will say this. Now I rather think in silence . And pray in silence. Then talk out loud . Or to think out. No good. When I’m in chronic pain I complain . About everything. And blaming everything and everyone. I’m totally burned completely out. My adrenal glands. Now I just gave my fiancée ammo to fire at me. My mouth gets me in serious trouble One time I got locked up for 16 months just saying something to my self

Thank you Sadhguru, but the narrator guy who adds useless commentary should stop adding his speaking, its just silly and robotic. Lol
@borisnahalka30278 ай бұрын
first of all, this american voice over is annoying. now to the topic. sound is not the opposite of silence, noise is, especially in once own head. movement is not opposite of stillness, restlessness is. practicing silence (or better put - not speaking) once a week can be be beneficial in many ways, especially showing the practitioner how much noise is going on inside, even when no sound outside is spoken. ultimately, silence is when you are not. in activity, or inactivity, makes no difference. it is the same with meditation. it is not what you can do, it is the quality or your being in those moments. when you are not, for the first time you really are. not as a person, not as an entity, but as a life without borders. that is what silence means. silence is perceived as a negative word, meaning that sound as an important part of life is missing. that is false. Silence is very positive and potent state, where life is at its peak. Body can be silent, emotions can be silent, senses can be silent, mind can be silent, energies can be bubbling up and still can be silent, if you are not involved/attached. you just watch and observe. then and only then you will know what silence is. you can and should practice it, but it is not a skill. it is an art.
