This colab is amazing! I love Amanda's content on tiktok and she's truly a breath of fresh air in the DUDE, BRO, WHOAH (runs away) world of ghost hunting. I really relate to the part she talks about at 15 mins in, where the practical part of our brains is always going to wonder how much of spirit work is just dealing with our own trauma and trying to make sense of the nonsense of life/death, and it's a really interesting parallel that 💀 witches can understand even if we aren't ghost hunters exactly. It's illuminating to hear both of you really listen to each other and riff on that level. Anyway, I appreciate you both. This was really cool. 🖤

I like to think about spirits in relation to dimensions as well. Like we are equipped to perceive a narrow scope of reality, like being tuned in to a specific radio station. But of course, just because we are on one station doesn't mean all of the other ones poof out of existence. And maybe certain areas are prone to being a static zone, wherein you experience a faint echo of the neighboring station (reality) alongside yours. Also, I think some hauntings could simply be a tangle in time. When we think we are interacting with a spirit from the past, maybe sometimes we are interacting with the past itself. I think that reality is more mushy than we often like to think it is, and that within itself is pure Magick. I can't remember if it was in Journey of Souls or Destiny of Souls (both great books, btw), but one of them details the act of souls visiting Earth out of body. But of course time is not real, so it for sure could be a loved one, but it also could be you. Anywhosies, it's all so fascinating dude. 😊

I was watching this paranormal team do the este on spirits of the Stanley Hotel there in CO just before they banned paranormal teams around 2016. That was the first time I saw someone using the este method. The results are so crazy. I really want to try it too!👻

Equipment dont use gimmicky things because they pick up on so many things that are natural its very hard decipher what is really something and what is just em waves created from wires or a tower outside or even Cell phone or Wifi radio stations all of those things interfere even where you think you are out of range of such things /. best to use you own senses which I do after years of doing it that way you know what is and what isnt you can sense it Em fields usually give false positives even metals and moving water does it using your own energies and senses for me works best . I would say 98% of what people call spirits or haunting is just residual energy that keep getting fed from people s energies. out of my life, there have been maybe 100 times ( when checking places people and things out) out of the 50 + years of things happening that are paranormal or spirits all the rest was something else the only thing that has stuck and clung to me is playful childlike trickster which has been around all my life and thats ok .

"witch" is a gender neutral term. A Wizard has more of a fantastical entomology less of a spiritual practice term, but people use it if they please. A warlock is someone who has been casted out or "warlocked" from the church.
