My life changed. I got with my soon to be husband who is this ideal guy, I finally wrote the book I was dreaming about, I completed my medical degree as the batch second topper, my future aspirations have become bigger than ever, my relationships with everyone around me including my parents changed, I got free from my binge ED of 9 years, I could finally cut out toxic people.. I manifested everything. I live my dream life now. Stop complaining and start doing guys!! Just stop and persist in the fact that you're that bitch who has everything. Listen to Liz. why you can’t change 1) change your environment, don’t be stuck where you can’t grow 2) no pity party, DO SOMETHING TO INACT CHANGE 3) remove toxic situations; get out of survival mode or find support groups; find a third place 4) prioritize yourself (health, mentality, etc); find ways to practice peace 5) step out of your COMFORT ZONE; it ends w me 6) focus on habits to ACHIEVE GOALS (map out goals and ways to get there) 7) PUSH THROUGH; if it’s hard, it is supposed to be when you are going through change; don’t quit 8) take accountability for how you hurt yourself and think “how good can life get” 9) SEEK KNOWLEDGE, listen to what can help you evolve, skip the BS 10) stop the comparison, sometimes the regular life is your life. notes: stop saying you don’t deserve what is bestowed upon you by God! I really like that she put a black screen at 8:30ish because this is a technique used in the media when they want to include the audience in the video. This is because typically, if you are looking at a dark/black screen, you can see yourself reflected in the screen due to the lighting in your surroundings, and it was really powerful to put it right at 8:30 because she was just talking about looking into a mirror and waking yourself up to the reality that you want to change. In this way, she basically put a mirror (the black screen) in the video and demanded that we look into it and become the change we want to see. Very powerful choice!

I’m sorry I can’t get behind this one at all the fact that she thinks it’s the woman’s fault she’s being abused because she’s attracting those type of men. I don’t know why we keep blaming women for the stuff men do. It’s not her fault she was abused it’s the abusers fault. Plus it’s extremely common for women who have assaulted or abused for it to happen again. When you look at an abusers mind set they go for girls they know they can abuse and that the fault of men not women just living their lives trying to stay alive. It honestly makes me sick to hear her say she doesn’t feel bad and it’s basically her fault, it excuses the man who’s actually at fault and now the VICTIM is being told no one feels bad and it’s basically her fault

@@whoisjoe3492 thats not what she said at all, she is not taking the blame off the abuser but she is saying that if you are consistently attracting these people into your life you should change because there is obviously something about you that is accepting of that behavior.
@0178_rania2 жыл бұрын
@@whoisjoe3492 I agree! I am going to ask Liz about this, it is very offensive to victim blame as women of all kind are repetitively abused in this patriarchal society. It can be true that somebody who is more soft, gullible and forgiving will get abused more often but that is a personal subject and the abuser should still be held accountable for their bad actions. Abuse is an inappropriate topic to discuss this on in such broad terms, it would be less insulting if Liz described the situation more specifically and clarified that abuse is very real and sometimes cannot be avoided regardless of the kind of person, and if she stated that she was particularly referring to that one situation because of the victims traits, instead of making it seem like an open door for victim blaming
@LaylaLovesyou092 жыл бұрын
@@0178_rania I think it's very obvious that she's talking about the situation from the girl in she saw because if you go online and talk about the same thing over and over again and still do not do the work in order to avoid it then her priorities are not right. Everyone knows that the victim is not at fault when it comes to this kind of situations but if it's constantly happening then something is wrong with the way you act and you need to fix that. That's what she's saying. It's about learning patterns of behavior within yourself and others and start acting upon it to avoid the same results. If you know that you have the type of personality that attracts people who do no do you well, why don't you change?! The only time this is acceptable is when we are talking about people with some kind of struggles or if they are underage but if you are a able adult in full competences then accountability needs to happen.

my mom told me that getting into relationships with bad people can be partially our own fault. And at first I was like "nahhh, we can't tell." but...truthfully...we can. Time reveals all, and when we give it time, we don't jump into the relationship, and force feelings...when we give things time, someone's true colors will show. how they truly act will come out. But even then- there are hints, and red flags that pop up. Unless that person is just a MASTER manipulator, and a master at covering their entire life up, then it can be harder. But ASK questions. ask ask ask, get to know their family, their friends, ask questions that require consistency, and be suspicious when they don't keep the same consistency. People might look at this and thing "well you're just so untrustworthy!" yes, I am. You should be too. be selective with who you let in your life. Who you let see you at your lowest and who you let into your family and close groups. You are a sacred treasure, that is one thing that is very true, and no it isn't narcissistic to know that you are worth so much more than an unlocked door. Because an unlocked door leads to an unprotected house- and anyone can come in a steal and take what they want, and leave you empty. So don't get into these horrible relationships, keep a check on yourself as well. be like "woah...am I allowing them to do this to me?" because bestie there are so many things you ALLOW to happen to leads to even worse things in the future.

I was listening to a podcast that said, “it’s important to live life by design rather than emotion. Basically, sticking to a routine is what allows us to be the healthiest version of ourselves (especially when you're fighting these demons ex. OCD for me). I’ve had to overhaul how I approach taking care of my brain (exercise, journaling, studying etc) by practising mediocre consistency. Now I try to put in consistent 50-60% effort into my habits - to make sure I do it I began recording it and posting it on youtube channel. Historically I have a habit of going too hard, not being able to sustain the Herculean effort, giving up and hating myself. So now I’m trying to give a small, consistent small effort everyday. And its crazy how it adds up.

Hi Liz, I just want to say that as a guy and watching your content and hearing what you have to say, it has been very helpful this past few months with what I have been dealing with in my life. I know a lot of your content seems to be geared towards female viewers but a lot of what you talk about really resonates with me and inspires me to be better. So on behalf of the one the guys that watch your channel thank you for continuing to inspire us to be better versions of ourselves and encouraging us to go after the life we want. God bless!!!

I was raised in EXTREMELY toxic and abusive family. I was unable to escape fir years. I was beaten up,sexually and mentally abused. Finally i was able to get a job and home and i moved out. Now im 25 and its been 3 years since i left them and i still struggle with my mental health. I go to therapy and take pills because i have panick attacks,ptsd and depression. I still cannot realize what a big step i made by escaping. I feel so proud if myself. My whe life changed for good. Liz is complitely right as always. ❤️

This video showed me that I am doing something right. I'm always beating myself up over not reaching goals within x time but there's so many other points I forget. Like where I started from and where I am now, I was hopeless and clueless one year ago, today I have a plan and a goal I am working towards and this video is a reminder to me that success and reaching goals in life isn't linear. Also yes, I will never again say that I am self-made or never took help from anybody to get where I am. Countless people consciouly have helped me reach where I am today. Thanks for reminding us of these things Liz, you're a real gem🖤

I love how you said you have an advantage because you came from a traumatic place. I've thought this about myself also...but the reality is not everyone is resilient in the face of adversity. My other siblings have not been as successful (mentally, physically, financially) as me. I don't know why I'm like this, but from a very young age I held on to the dream that one day I would have happiness. I'm definitely struggling with my mental health but I'm wise enough to seek help and go to therapy.

i literally cried watching this and the point where she tells to move out of toxicity , out the 'family' i just cannot even though im willing to cause in country which im living in is just not made for me i feel like sometimes cause im an indian and above that 'female' and here the society is the main issue( if ur an indian u can understand better) for now im in class 12th ....the only thing i can do is depend on my parents not wanting tho .....i wish i could actually start earning early but my but mother dosen't allow me that and im not exposed to the resources yet to get me there where i want to be.....every point of her was correct and my family is really toxic like having a father is too useless for me cause he just never care about my concerns anymore....im just suffering in my own life daily striving for me and the people related to me...but that is just not enough for them......LIKE TODAY MY MOTHER COMPARED ME TO ANOTHER GIRL SAYING THAT "FRIST BECOME WHAT SHE IS"....i like u to know that im not exactly an introvert but my life events had made me one like all those traumas that i have suffered cause of my father and like real cause of my low self esteem is my family.......i loved my mother so much i cared for her like each and every single day but that's just not enough for her .....AND NOW U KNOW WHAT I DON'T REALLY WANNA GIVE A PERSON THAT MUCH PRIORITY WHICH WILL JUST MAKE A FULL OUT OF MYSELF.....i am just waiting for this year to pass and hopefully god could give me that access that i could be independent and earn by myself!!!

So true...as an indian girl myself i fucking hate how elders tend to think that they can control whatever we do ..when we want to be independent or do things on our own, we bring "shame" to their name .... "Even if you're crawling, you're getting there" I needed to hear this video but I needed to hear that sentence the most. Edit: It's like this video was made for me. I was actually hopinh for a sign today and I definately take this video as my sign because I did not look this video up, it just appeared and I need to hear all these words today. I keep having unrealistic expectations for myself, expecting myself to change at the snap of a finger. I keep expecting myself to see results quickly. I'm not patient with myself or with life and everyone else around me is not patient with me or my life but I cannot keep caring about what others think and instead focus on myself. I am crawling right now, I keep making little steps and I keep fallinh but eventually I always pick myself back up again and keep making small steps. I always thinl that crawling is not good enough and that I need to be doing more and see immediate big changes in my life but not everyone's life works out that way. Like Liz said even if I'm crawling, I'm gettig there and having ups and downs is part of life. Thank you Liz for making this video. I'm actually going to send this to a friend. 💗 I hope more people who needs this video sees this video.

08:35 - 12:38That's true. Having already lost my father since i was 1 moth old, i lost my mother 3 years ago at the age of 20. Right after the announcement of my mother's passing I was in survival mode for 2 years, trying to figure out not only how am i going to survive on my own but how am I going to preserve all the beautiful things in my life that I felt I would lose. My bereavement was very heavy, I was already facing mental health issues that grew stronger and the rest of my family wasn't really supportive. I had to be there for myself and constantly trying to surround myself with people that kept inspiring me and believing in me. I went through terribly hard times, financially, mentally and spiritually and covid only made things more difficult. Today, after somehow stabilizing my life I am again focused on my studies and my career.I finally stare in the mirror without any hesitation or shame. I am still very young and can't make a lot of money (because I am still in university) but I keep being faithful and I try to remind myself everytime I feel like a loser that I everything I have achieved I did it on my own and If i survived this I can achieve a lot more. Believing in yourself is key. Never let anyone control you.
