The one thing that I really appreciate about Disney's Lucasfilm is the documentaries and psychological analysis that will be made one day about all of KK's issues reflected in the content produced under her. Just imagine how much hatred, frustration and envy she accumulated all those years surrounded by some of the most talented men in the industry and being forced to face the reality of how talentless and incompetent she was on a regular basis. Only capable of serving coffee (maybe some hot coffee too...) and interrupting people just to insert her stupid ideas. And the best part is it wouldn't be unusual for her to cope with it all by telling herself she was a misunderstood genius being kept down by the patriarchy. But if only she could obtain the power she would show them how much better than them she is... and then she got it and proceeded to make some of the most incompetent garbage in history. It's like a text book example of a pathetic sith wannabe, and I love it. Bonus points for making Disney lose tens on billions on her personal tantrum. Chef's kiss.

It's ironic, JJ Abrams admitted somewhere that they were forced (no pun intended) to re-write her character completely as they went because after viewing back one of the earliest scenes shot, the one where Rey first meets Finn & she's all angry & has a massive chip on her shoulder & is just generally being a dick to him - that she had been written like this for the _entire film!_ & so they worried it would put people off her character!!! (aaaa-hahahahaha!) , he says they had to lighten her up quite a bit & pretty much the exact same thing happened with the Jyn Erso character in Rogue One, they had to reshoot most of her stuff because her character like Rey, just came across as an arsehole. Good thing they changed them to the much loved characters they are today.😏
