Man, there is something so magical about Wintersun. Jari has this ability to transport you to any location that he wants to you to go. Like you said at the beginning, you can see a forest during that intro. You can feel like you’re actually there. That’s such a special quality to have. It’s part of the reason I give Jari a pass on how long it takes him to compose 😂 Great reaction as always.

Great reaction! Thanks for doing this one. Most reactors only cover Time and Sons of Winter and Stars, which makes sense because those are epic songs and some of their best. Soundtracks to a Nordic saga. A small percentage will also do Loneliness and Land of Snow and Sorrow. My favorites are Time and Loneliness. I would highly recommend reacting to Time just to get a feel for how complex and layered Jari's music can be. Each song on the Time album is composed of up to 200 separate tracks. In fact they had to wait on production technology to advance before they could mix the songs, delaying the albums release by 6 years. Looking forward to your journey through the rest of the Forest Season's album.

For my part, I can say that if you are struggling with severe depression, Insomnium, Wintersun, Swallow the Sun, Hallatar, Wolfheart, Agalloch, Draconian etc. etc. just right to listen to. At the Wintersun the forest seasons, for example, I like to go for a walk in the forest, headphones on, volume max. and world off.

I've been lucky enough to see Wintersun live twice and they are so crazy tight. They sound just like the studio versions. You should do one of their Sonic Pump Studio rehearsal videos sometime to see them in action.

Jari does it by himself tracking a million high sample orchestra bits in a computer to accent the organic metal instruments on top. and he find the sweet spot for every tone. this album is a production master peice

Eternal Darkness is honestly one of the best symphonic black metal music I’ve heard. Shade Empire, Carach Angren, and old Dimmu Borgir with Mustis are good, but Wintersun Black Metal is something else

Hi Cosmic! I watched your reaction to loneliness and hit sub in about a minute into the song. I like you giving the attention to this album. It's a piece of art and deserves it. Tho first Floor did both parts - her and Marco's vocals. that virtual concert, also did more work in '22 Hellfest and Pinkpop too - those are kinda nice quality in YT. Now Troy have more courage.
