There really should be a Big Five: Slayer, Anthrax, Megadeth, Metallica, and Sepultura. I always said Sepultura was the most underrated thrash band. The boys from Brazil kicked ass. You guys have to listen to Amen/Inner Self live. It’s the last track on their Chaos A.D. album.

I am so happy to see young people enjoy this REAL metal! I am also so glad I grew up in the 80's and 90's! I got to see this tour live and many of the live performance(s) you react to on this channel. It make me smile to think that I saw this live and there is NOTHING like this anymore! I never saw Sepultura live but i´ve seen Cavalera conspiracy playing old Sepultura songs 2011. That show was great and they still got the same energy that time. Great memories! Usualy i like more melodic stuff but when i want to listen good ass kicking metal, i listen Sepultura!

Had this concert on VHS (gasp!) back in the day. They were one of the greatest bands of the late 80s into the mid-90s, but didn’t get the attention then that I thought they deserved. I’ve seen Sepultura without Max and I’ve seen Soulfly and both shows were good, but it’s just not the same.

I saw Sepultura on their first European tour, opening for Sodom (who they BLEW off the stage), must have been early 1990 or so. Got to chat with them afterwards. Back then Max (g,v) only had three strings on his guitar, and when I asked him why that was, he simply replied "I don't need more." :D

Yes, I remember that tour very well (broke my nose in the moshpit). Sepultura/Sodom, I think it was '89. After not even a full hour of Sepultura the evening was practically over ;-)

Guys, you need to listen to sepultura's first 2 LPs, Bestial devastation and Morbid Visions, and see the change, the first 2 are one of the first Death Metal LPs released, Bestial is from 1985 and Morbid is from 1986.

Am so lucky to gone thru that era, I mean circa the 80s and 90s. It was like never ending of Metal music. Next you know you have Iron Maiden, then Dio and the Metallica hit us with their next album, then Megadeth and then Sepultura, then Slayer one after another. We had Antrax, Sodom, Testament, Judas Priest and never forget The Guns and Roses, Skid Row....they came with new albums and posters. And the we hear King Diamond will release their new album, and Nirvana also joining with a blast! Then we have Morbid Angel into the scene and we also have our local scene with weekly Gigs. Then came the Alternative era with Grunge, Punk, Surf music and whammmmmmmmmmm.....we gets older and those memories was the best for us. What an epic life.
