From their sophomore album "Slave to the Grind." Not one single bad song on that album. Even the low tempo songs are bangers. Just an impeccable album. MUCH less commercial than their debut album.

@@TheWolfHunterZyou have to do “Piece of Me” Live version from Saturday Night Live performance or the one from Wembley 1991. Just incredible. Sebastian Bach is the name of the singer. Damn shame they had a falling out and don’t appear to be reconciling anytime soon. They were just in Cleveland at MGM Northfield Saturday night and it was a great show with the new singer Erik Gronwald , who is excellent. But….he’s not Bas in his prime. It’s an unfair comparison and not his fault. Again he’s excellent but maybe I just got spoiled with Sebastian’s charisma and voice at the time.

I still love listening to this song when I'm having a bad day....instant lift. Slave to the Grind was a great album. I remember them talking in interviews when it came out that the album art was painted by Sebastian Bach's dad. Saw them the month after this dropped when they opened for Guns N' Roses in what would pretty much just become known as the St. Louis concert riot. Skid Row was great. Glad I got to see them a few months later under less chaotic circumstances when they went out again as headliners with Soundgarden opening.

This was their F-U to the record label. The label wanted an album of all "18 and Life-ish, I remember you" ballads and they came out with this monster album! The heaviest, hardest album they could possibly make. And I believe it sold more copies than their first album.

'95 my brother (20) took me (12) to see them on their subhuman race tour. 1994-97 was a ROUGH time for 98% of 80's metal bands; many didn't survive. We saw them at an outdoor amphitheatre in October that maybe had a capacity of 5,000. There were maybe 2,000 people there. It didn't matter to Baz and the boys. They gave 110%. Sebastian was totally nuts and put his all into every song. It was my introduction to the band. They made a fan for life that day.

Another cool, but different kind of tune from them is My Enemy from Subhuman Race. You should listen to some of the solo stuff Baz has done. Particularly fond of his work with Frameshift on the album An Absence of Empathy, and the weirdo project he did with Kelley Deal of the Breeders called The Last Hard Men. He was also on Broadway in Jesus Christ Superstar, Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde and Rocky Horror, so if you want to hear him sing show tunes, there's a bunch online, though mostly abysmal footage quality.
