Tina Guo(cellist) is playing a electric cello , the female percussionist is playing electric drum pads allowing her to change the sound of the drums to any percussion instrument she may need for what piece they are playing she has another set of pads above the ones she was playing with more pads all controlled through a computer with percussion instruments sampling programmed in it.

@@nc3836 Yes, Hans Zimmer is the guy in the middle who plays the guitar and the piano. The players are mostly all soloists, handpicked by him to play in his Orchestra. He doesn't have a fixed Orchestra as he often uses different soloists for different performances.
