Queen allowing Robbie to do We Will Rock you shows you just how awesome Robbie is. Not just anyone gets to do that.

Ikr. They wanted Robbie to front them on tour before Paul Rodgers from Free did and then Adam Lambert in recent years but obviously he was doing his thing being huge at the time ,that would've been a huge commitment and he said he didn't want to because Freddie is his hero and didn't think anyone ,especially him could live upto that. I can see why they asked him because not only is he a massive fan but has a great voice(which I don't think he gets enough credit for) and is a great entertainer that has a great relationship with the audience ✌️

Love you two! I didn’t realize you had already reacted to one of his Knebworth songs. As awesome as this is, a couple years earlier at Knebworth was when he was truly at his pinnacle. Every person at those shows was there solely for him, whereas at Live 8 they were treated to him, The Who, the one off Pink Floyd reunion. And they were still so into him. The Freddie tribute is because at the original Live Aid was Queen’s pinnacle performance. Let Me Entertain You is not close to being his best song but it is high energy and works great as a stadium anthem. But from his Knebworth Shows… Come Undone, Feel, and Angels are sooooo good. What works so well with Robbie is his mix of bravado and confidence on stage along with that humbleness/I’m not worthy persona. He does cry during that performance. One of the greatest pure entertainers ever that so many in the U.S. have never really seen or heard. Dude is a legend.

I watched this live in my living room in Cambridge, 50 miles north. You could feel his charisma radiating out of the TV screen. As others have suggested, the Knebworth concert video is worth watching. Huge crowds, epic performances. And at one point, he is in tears (of awe) at the reception he’s getting. There was no-one hotter than Robbie Williams in 2003 - even though he was struggling with insecurity and doubt. It’s well worth watching!

OMG Thank you for doing this!!! Robbie Williams has to be one of the most energetic men to hit a stage. He is gorgeous just to add to that. :) You need to watch him doing his live performance of Angels. He also did a concert and it was recorded in Knebworth. Much much much needed to watch that one. A very lucky fan gets quite the kiss from him not to mention a quick boob grab. lol lol

I’ve seen Robbie many times and as always he never fails to entertain. He started his career with a band called Take that who were the most successful boy band in the UK/Europe in the 90s, they split up and came back in 2006. Robbie left the band in 1995 and rejoined for one album called Progress in 2010. There’s a song on that album called ‘the flood’ the live version of the flood can be found by searching ‘the flood-progress live’ definitely worth a watch xx

The purpose of this entire concert …. On the 8th July the G8 summit ended and the leaders pledged to increase the aid to Africa from $25 billion to $50 billion by 2010. The concerts were held around the 20th anniversary of Live Aid in 1985. The Live 8 project was launched on 31st May 2005 by Bob Geldof with the aim to raise awareness of issues in Africa.

Gotta love Robbie Williams! Listen I am a Thrasher metal-head mostly. Robbie gets me every time! He knows how to ROCK! I mean he may only dabble in hard rock at most (well Karma Killer is pretty fucking Metal), but he has the fire and attitude of Metal! You should see his live performance of Let Me Entertain You when he comes down in an upside down cross pose hanging from a fucking helicopter to the stage!!!

Not the only song of Queen's he covered. He also released a version of 'We Are The Champions' for the movie 'A Knights Tale' which is a Heath Ledger film. He was one of the biggest entertains on the planet not so long ago but didn't really break into the American music scene ( mostly through choice ) His 'No Regrets' & 'Supreme' tracks are amazing!!
