Some great violin-playing by Lindsey there and a shattering level of grittiness in Lzzy´s voice. :-)

This was Lindsey's first big collaboration outside of other youtubers and cover/medleys. I would highly recommend checking out the actual music video. (I know copyright is probably an issue on here.) But the music video and studio version really shows off the spectacle and adds in that Dubstep element that is a mainstay of her music, as well as the visual story that is being told by the song and the lyrics.

Excellent reaction. I've seen several of your reactions and am always impressed by the enthusiasm and sincerity. That said I think, on this song in particular, you're shorting yourself by not watching the official video. Whether you react to it or not, this gal is a true multi-hyphenate and she wrote the song, concepted the video, probably co-directed it and for sure edited it. (Knowing her, she probably sewed the costumes and built the set. She has in the past.) The official vid is a remarkably creative aural and visual expression of her creativity and skills. In addition to her already noted skills with the violin, she's a master story teller and her editing clearly tells you that this is her story of breaking free from both her own constrictive self-image but also the mantle that society places on young women. She is so nuanced that the closer you look, the more you see and the more you admire her unique skill set. Anyway, sure like your reactions.

As much as I love the official vid, this one is so much better for some reason. It is much rawer and emotional. I just wish we could hear Lindsey more.

I saw Lindsey (and Gavi; her fans will know why that's important) at a radio-sponsored concert in Columbus, Ohio. She didn't have her light show or any dancers; it was just her, the drums, and the keyboards and some very basic lighting. She worked so hard to put on a good show. She sounded great and almost never stopped moving. She engaged the crowd a lot, too, and was super charming. I love Lindsey!

Travis This is Lizzy Hale of Halestorm. Lizzy and her brother, Arejay (I called him Animal after the muppet, Animal) on drums due to his drumming style plus other 2 are Halestorm. Lizzy has sung with others such as Amy Lee of Evanescene. Halestorm has a load of songs such as their staple, I Miss The Misery.

If you check out the official video of this song, it will be clearer what this song is about. Lindsey wrote this song about the time that she was dealing with depression and anorexia. In the video, the snow globes represent her life with these two destructive mental health conditions and show her break free of them both. You should check out "Lost Girls". It represents the temptation to go back to these destructive modes of thinking. The two songs, together, form an autobiographical representation of her early life. She sought out Lizzy because of her powerful vocals. She is exceptional at matching the right voice and instruments to her music.

I saw Lindsey in concert with Evanescense, and Amy Lee sang Shatter Me on Lindsey's set. Then Lindsey played on the song Hi-Lo that Evanescense and Lindsey Collaborated on. Epic...Best Concert ever :) You should check it out, and Lindsey's String Sessions with Amy Lee on Evanescense' new song Wasted on You. Also, More BlackPink would be awesome - Whistle and Boombayah are both awesome.

The official video is better if you ask me. I had the feeling that the instruments were a bit to weak for Lzzys powerful voice and sometimes you couldn't really hear the violin... That's only my opinion, you don't have to agree with me ^^

There is a lot of mixing required for Lindsey's tracks, it's cool to hear a "small" version of it, but her music was designed to have that beat behind it.
