Due to some recent changes Panther A and Panther G are not just same, they're IDENTICAL in terms of mobility

weird thing is the G has more armour than the A but is lighter, the G is 44.8 tonnes and the A is 45.2 tonnes (both with add on armour)

Make a stock to spaded about the saab 105 g, it turns like a brick when stock but once you unlock bombs its easier to grind aam and performance. Not to say that 8.3 isnt a br, most matches are uptiers from 9.0 or 9.3

Tankennstein, your information on the A variant having more horse power is out of date. Gaijin nerfed the A model's horse power due to historical documents of the A model having their horse power lowered to prevent engine fires, well less engine fires.

The Sherman VC only has around 70mm of armor at the front considering the angle, and the Panther pens 190mm. It is easily pennable.

Honest opinion, the G is better than the A because of the extra armor that eliminates the shot trap. You'll get what I'm saying when you're in that kind of situation. Instead of dying, that extra mm of armor would eat the shot instead of redirecting it onto the hull. Overall, it still is a regular panther but without the shot trap on the turret.

Hmm, never even considered unlocking that one as I dislike the Panther D so much. Except as a target that is! None of the big cats are my style at all (none make my top 50 ground-kill vehicle list). To each their own.

The A used to have an ungoverned engine, so a 700hp net output. Two months ago gaijin decided to nerf it and now it's as fast as any other panther variant

@@Ausf.D.A.K. so youve never play the panther F? gotcha, it has the best reload out of them all and a good turret rotation speed (double the D's) and its not any slower than any other panther its only 0.3 tonnes heavier than the A, its copula is TINY and it gets a range finder, should I mention the thicker turret armour? also it doesnt have a muzzle brake which makes the barrel shorter, please play a tank before you call it bad (especially when its not)

I have NEVER been shot-stapped when playing the panther, nor have I ever shot-trapped a panther so the chin seems worthless in the game.
