I appreciate you sharing this cleanup video. I am here to see the X7 in action I am looking at it among others. I have used many airless sprayers in the past and I know you are brand new at this and I mean no disrespect. However you are about half clean here. First mask everything you are going to spray and do it all at once. The spray time is very short compared to prep work. I know they say you can but don't leave paint in your sprayer accept for lunch or a smoke break etc not over night. Use several buckets of clean water and recirculate into them and change buckets over and over Intel it is super clean. Disassemble gun and completely clean it. I also remove the hoses and clean them. Each time you use the sprayer small bits of paint get stuck in the sprayer cracks and crannies and will Harden over time. If you own your sprayer and its not a rental take the time and over clean it and it will always be ready to use after long term storage. The extra time spent cleaning these amazing sprayers is so very worth it. Just my 2 cents. Thanks for sharing your video.

Let me tell you that you’ve totally taken the scary out of this for an airless paint sprayer beginner! I bought this airless sprayer, and I’ve been afraid to even learn how to prime it; so, after set up, there, it has sat waiting for this little lady to buck up. After watching your videos, I’m ready to jump right in to painting with it tomorrow morning!

Hi, i just wanted to say thank you for demonstrating the x7. I recently purchased the x5. Once spraying it was complete within minutes. It was the setup, prep, and clean up that had me intimidated. You have been thorough, informative, and well keeping it simple. I'm going to bust it out and give it another shot. Currently fixing up in laws house for selling. Watched and commented on the first video. This was excellent, as well....and thank you for the hose "tip". The cleanup was exponentially more complicated than the setup. But, again, after doing it once or twice, hopefully, get's easier. Still worth the purchase. And, I agree that paint masker (of which I have two) is an AMAZING tool. for anyone worried about splashing, aim the spray gun towards the walls of the bucket in a SIDEWAYS position. this will prevent splashing and instead any liquid will flow against the sides of the buckets.

Thank you for posting this video, well done, very clear instructions. It might be the POV of the camera but it looked like, at one point, you had your finger on the unlocked, pump on, and when you went from one bucket to the other, it briefly passed and pointed at your forearm. I'm thinking, it probably wouldn't happen, but if you sneezed, got distracted and squeezed that trigger....it dose say in the directions that if you shot yourself with paint, to go to the emergency room immediately with the safety data sheet on the paint can. Thanks again.

Lastly, did you record taking the handle off the tube, removing the filter, cleaning, and reassembling. I think I’m just not strong enough for the wrenches to hold the one nut and the other. I’ll have to wait for to wake up in the morning.

If you’re using the sprayer again the very next day, after you clean it out, do you have to put the pump armor in every time you use and clean the sprayer? Or can you use it the next day and then put the pump armor in the machine?

spray gun swivel, and for the cleanup from garden hose get a ball valve so you can turn on an off at the hose end. So you don't have to keep going to turn on and off at the spigot.

I would think the X7 is a great choice for this job. It's perfectly capable of doing it, just not doing it day after day after day.

Yes, it is at first. But if you're doing it regularly it wouldn't seem so. The steps make sense when you know why you're doing them.

Agreed, airless and help definitely have different use cases. Airless has a lot more steps for protection but you will regret it if you don't. Many of their recommendations seem excessive (like pumping water through for 30 seconds before starting) but those are the things that keep these machines running for many years. I run 3 graco sprayers and have never regretted it

Also, honestly the cleanup on the x7 takes about the same time as properly cleaning brushes and rollers lol

remove guard remove tip use top of tip to push out washer replace washer use bottom of tip put washer on bottom of tip push washer back in rubber in washer will hold onto bottom of tip when putting washer back in line up rounded portion so tip can be replaced in guard

I had worst experience with this spray machine yesterday. I bought 3 nozzles 515 and 621 and everytime it jist stopped spraying nozzle gets stuck. I would NOT reccomend this machine
