Thank you for the great segments...I appreciate Emma showing how he combs her wool. after watching, i ordered (from Bam fiberworks) the same board and clasps, it would make my life easier (I have the same combs). And thank you Kelsey for voicing what we don't dare to say sometimes...we do NOT have to knit(sew, crochet, weave....) just because we can !

My Emotional Support Chicken went to Maghaberry, NI. My daughter fell completely in love with her, but our little granddaughter likes to invite her for “tea!” It’s time to make another, but I really should FINISH SOMETHING FIRST! Argh! I’m finishing up my Dacite (Stolen Stiches - Carol Feller) just in time for our New Hampshire winter. It’s made from Lettlopi in a beautiful shade of blue. Maybe “Heaven Blue.” Thanks for introducing me to the joy of woolly knitting!

Watching your shop cast just makes my Friday evening so relaxing and inspiring. Corinne, welcome to the joys of toy-knitting. Whenever I knit one of Cinthia’s patterns I just marvel at how clear and accurate they are and how much personality each animal has. Once the eyes get put in, the animal seems to just come alive. Thanks to the rest of TWT crew for all of your segments. My head is filled with inspiration. Thanks so much!!

I always love watching all the excitement in your wooly world! Corrine, had the same problem in decreasing the arm holes when I knit the McCartney sweater which I turned into a vest. I usedJamieson and smith 2 ply and after I steeked the arm holes, I did cut it to decrease the amount of fabric and it turned out just fine!! I steeked with the sewing machine and have blocked it- I m wearing it now. Thanks for all your stories of knitting challenges and successes!

Corinne, I think cutting away the knitted fabric around the armholes of your vest is a good way to go! In fact, some Scandinavian patterns tell you to knit the top of the sweater without any neck opening and then reinforce with a sewing machine and basically cut out a semicircle for the neck, which is similar to what you will be doing but just around the armhole. The vest looks so lovely - would be a pity to give it up! You can do it! 😊
