Great reaction to this! 🤘Jona Tee on keys here did all instruments and produced it. He's a fantastic artist as well. Erik's voice is my current favorite because he has the ability to make you feel every note of everything he sings. For New Year's he did a very different version of The Final Countdown that is worth checking out, or really anything on his channel. I've yet to see him do anything that didn't make me sit up, take notice, and pay attention to the message of the song.

Erik did an Encore to his version/arrangement of House of the Rising Sun and in it he pointed out that the song itself is dark one and that he tried to make an epic version of it. And he did create a truly epic version of a dark song. You can find the Encore on his channel. In my opinion the arrangement is absolutely unique and Erik is a versatile and awesome vocalist, a friendly and humble guy and he has an incredible life story! It worth digging into the man, his life, his music. He shared a Q&A on his channel a few days ago snd that is worth watching too!

Hearing Erik sing is listening to a great powerhouse. Even better is listening to him.singing a Sabaton cover together with our other Swedish powerhouse Tommy Johansson in Carolus Rex. A truly Swedish production, as they called it. Those two together will rock you.

Pubs in the UK actually stop serving at about 10.30pm and throw everyone out at 11pm. I always loved the Animals version, until hearing Erik. He has an amazing voice. As does Dan Vasc, a Brazilian metal singer.

There’s another much less popular cover song out there with him that is just as fantastic as this one but in a way more “quiet” way. I heard the Eric version first and then had a listen to the original song. I most definitely DID NOT like the original. It’s old school music at it’s worst…sorry to say but that’s just how I feel. Now Eric on the other hand did an absolutely amazing cover of “Child In Time” with Deep Purple.
