I've found the best way to accompany Mon Mothma to Mon Calamari is to build a significant fleet in the Mon Calamari Sector and push through the relatively poorly defended intersections finally arriving at Ord Ibanna where then in which Mon Mothma can join the fleet and be escorted over to Mon Calamari providing free cruisers to the alliance!

To answer the Kyle Katarn question, he was in the Jedi Knight 1, 2 set of games so this includes; Dark Forces 1, 2 Mysteries of the Sith Jedi Outcast and of course Jedi Academy Those are the games I remember him being in though he could've been in more tbh =)

Shack, here a player that already became the new republic and destroyed space stations and blockaded every single imperial planet and erradicated the black sun and minor factions from the galaxy, AA turrets, if you control them manually, they easely shred any enemy unit, infantry tanks and every single thing they throw at you, believe me, AA turrets are OP on this mod

Shack I'm conducting my own rebel campaign and i do recommend getting rid of those minor factions, they do get cocky quickly and will start to make advances in to your territory. I recommend getting rid of them, the corporate sector is the hardest of the three to take, you've made relatively short work of the hutts already and the Hapes went down pretty easy to my rebel fleet so recommend you take them out. AND once you take them out you can get that extra income from the planets so its wins all round. The soon you take them out Captain the more casualties we can avoid. Doing great so far. 17:15 He was a main character in Academy, but not the protagonist. The protagonist was his apprentice. The series with Kyle was called Dark Forces initially then Jedi Knight after Kyle gained his powers.

Every time I see an Empire at War episode, I get the itch to play Supremacy again. I wish they'd do a proper HD remaster of it.

I found large saboteur raids led by a hero like Han or Kyle were very effective in this mod, even beating full garrisons. It seems a lot easier to eliminate upgraded space stations this way, especially early on when as the Alliance I found I needed to lean heavily on hero units to compensate for not having good capital ships, and risking those on a space assault on a fortified position is not a great gamble.

All the commando squads have medics in them, so the bacta tanks are really not super effective. I prefer anti-vehicle turrets, since that's what the commandos are weakest against.

Damn...I don't know what you ar epalying Shack..but I'm playing on Expert and just had to deal with 10 Star Destroyer + dozens of Escorts Alluyen. The Palnet right next to Hoth. And now 30 Seconds later 2 more ISDs are attacking Bothawui...Holy hell Build lots of X-Wings, Y-Wings and B-Wings...and Mon Call Ships. And I believe I'm currently at the same week as you. Also i must say, now that I play this Mod myself. You are damn good in handling your Heros. I already lost Solo and Katarn XD Ah yes...the ..new 3 AI Factions...When i played the Empire the Corporate Sector succesfully conquered the Outer and Mid Rim.

There is corruption on Yagar minor and Bespin that will eventually cause problems, I think it would be a good idea to get rebel inflitrators and attack bakura as well as the planet to the north of it since there isnt much of a fleet in the south. I would keep Dodonna and a dreadnaught over yaga minor and shore up planetary defenses while ackbar spear heads an attack Scipio to provide a buffer for the level two production. lastly use rebel sympathizers, rebels need to get paid.

Katarn was Dark Forces. Dark Forces II: Jedi Knight made him a Jedi and then they transitioned the name to Jedi Knight: Outcast for the next followed by Jedi Academy.

In this mod or the base game cant remeber maybr both ive used rancors to win a battle the ones that are one the map plaing as the rebellion and drew ATATs or sometimes tanks toward the rancor and the rancor killed it for me some times i would come finish to off i held a planet useing only one group of t2bs attack speeders i one many battles using this strategy but it was a the best option i had but probably not the best stratigy cause because if you got buildings enmey units will go after them

don't know about you guys i need some help i've been playing aotr since the alpha was made public,, here's my problem i'm VI, so can't see as well and prefer to turtle myself till ready, i'm struggling so hard with this mod, i love the dificulty but i've had to restart so many times, as the rebels, the most i've gotten is linking the kashyk area with mon cal, any advice or help? i hope the mod will get adjusted to add another difficlulty, i feel like it needs an easy

Pick the fights you can win,fortify key planets (there is no need in fighting to keep some bad ones) and build up a fleet.Use big capital ships to soak the damage while bombers take out key hardpoints (shields,hangars,engines)

i like to think about what to do, group and regroup fleets, so what i did is reduce game speed (on space and land battles the speed is still regular) and use the pause button A LOT. i play on normal as the rebels and consider myself a bad player, but i have been managing to conquer more planets and hold my ground.
