What a great ethos Paule in particular expresses. I so respect these two pioneers for their structured approach to improving and preserving the land for the future. We desperately need more young people like these two. I enjoyed this video immensely and cannot wait to hear more of them. Thank you so much Mathilda and Nick for sharing this and for giving your friends a helping hand and no doubt a great moral boost too. Jackie

@@NextMeridianExpedition I hope that they take lots of photos and videos along the way and maybe you will be able to make them into a collage type video for us 😀 I can wait to see the extent of the ruins and the size they can build to and how they implement that drainage and new pond. Such an exciting undertaking. Reminds me a little of my ancestors crofts in the outer Hebrides, but in France they have much better weather to work in.

We hope to go back maybe in 3 years to do another video: we actually discuss it with them. Cause even for them it would be amazing to compare their state of mind at the very beginning versus at the end! Thank you for watching this video, it is not the most adventurous but is dear to us

I have worked and lived on farms and ranches the work is hard but oh so fulfilling . and what they are doing is a very noble journey to improve the land , wishing them all the best . Thanks again for sharing the way the people you meet along your journey are as important as the places along the way . Thanks again for sharing your wonderful travel memories with us all your over landing friends . Cheers from Steve Stott in Sutherlin Oregon U.S.A. :):)🍻👍🏼😁

😃 thanks for all the kind words. Their farm really did give us an idea of what living on the farm could look like. And their method and dream seem so fulfilling but also rewarding to live off the land. A sweet alternative to having a full time job.

As a Canadian kid who was in France 1958 around Lougyuon about 12 k from Marville France where the Canadian Air Force had a base. I can remember biking through the small towns where the farmer with biggest pile of manure had the most farm animals. I can remember passing the fields as the juice (honey Bucket) sprayed it on the fields. Very interesting and thank you for showing this.
