YOU'RE RIGHT! It says right on the box "6 FULL SIZE ITEMS"! The perfume is definitely not full size and they don't sell a candle that small on their website so I dont know if that would count as full size or not! Also, I got the value from the Sephora website where I ordered it and they said it was worth $200, but when you look at the actual product website it says it has a $220 value! From my calculations it was only around $200. Hmm seems a little suspicious to me!

It always amazes me that anyone orders them more than once. And even if they priced items more fairly, assembling advent calendars costs more money in labor. The calendars always seem disappointing or, at best, kinda good. The UK price points seem better - the US market openly shows customers that they DGAF about us, they will give us worse and worse value, esp as long as we see fonts & printed things as having huge value because of the “aesthetics scam” that most Americans choose to embrace. As long as we keep buying & complaining, nothing will change. Society seems very resistant to understanding how spending money works & apparently desperately wants to be cheated. 🤷

Instead of naming this 'not an advent calendar 'they should have named it 'not a good value' or 'not a box worth purchasing' 😂😂 'not a good way to spend your money' 😂😂 I read an article a while back and that whale vomit sells for hundreds of thousands if you find a big enough glob of it. I have a vague memory of smelling this perfume when it first came out and not really liking it. I have not heard of this perfume, but just knowing that it's supposed to smell like something that comes out of a whale's gut and it's fecal matter, I think it would be a hard pass for me. I love "Not a Perfume" ❤ I think the big draw is that it's the only (or one of very few) hypoallergenic perfume. I have so many friends/family members/coworkers, etc. That either get headaches from normal perfume, or have allergies - so they had given up on wearing a nice fragrance and I was unable to wear perfume around them. It makes a great gift/purchase in those cases, specifically. Hope that helps a little, lol

The perfume is listed in their website's description as a mini. The 7.5 ml sample size mister thing is sold for $34. You generally do get a perfume for a larger size cheaper per volume than a smaller one. The candle is also listed as a mini.

It is "fine" but it does not stay at all, and when I ask people, they say they don't smell anything. It is SUPER subtle and not worth the $150 dollars for the perfume. So many better perfumes out there!!

Thank you for unboxing this! This is the only scent I wear. I get really bad migraines that are triggered by smells, and this perfume does not bother me at all! I also get so many compliments when I wear it. I had been considering buying some of the items that came in this calendar individually in the past, like the hair mist and the body lotion, but they seemed kind of expensive. This calendar makes it not TOO bad of a deal, especially if I wait for a Sephora sale. Thanks again for the great breakdown!

That was an interesting box! I am glad you did it but that was like getting a box of cell phone charms in a Tiffany advent box!! This perfume does tend to be very soft on me but when I had it my boyfriend at the time really enjoyed it lol. And I think it's really good for layering. I think it's supposed to enhance the other perfume and boost the fragrance and wear-time. Maybe try the commodity perfume you like with it? Or layer the lotion with a vanilla based perfume? All perfume is overpriced but might as well enjoy it while you have it! ❤

Not A Perfume is a favorite of mine. It just smells very clean to me and is super light. But it has a few unique things about it. You can use it as a base for layering their other fragrances or by itself. It's supposed to be non-allergenic so I wear it when I go to the doctor's. I've had people really like it because it's just clean smelling for me. They have a scent Pear Inc. that is great and Lust For Sun that I enjoy too. But all their scents are nice.

I got this one in my Scentbird last month because I heard about it from one of my co-workers, and I really like it. When my co-worker wears it, she can fill a room. It lasts on me, but more of a skin scent by the end of the day. With that said, the value is yet to be desired on this "advent calender", to say the least. If only the perfume would have been at least a 1.7 oz or more, then it would have been of better value. JHAG has another one that I really like called "Lusr for Sun". If you like orange blossom with a hint of tropical fragrance, you will like that one.

I love the not a perfume It is a very light sent. I will usually spray twice as much as I do any other fragrance, including my hair and my clothes to make the scent last longer, but it is a very soft scent.

I think it’s a great box if you like fragrance!!! Lotions and soaps made from fragrances are always on the more expensive side!! These fall reasonably well into that category! This fragrance is a great one to layer with another fragrance. Super fun!!

I bought the Juliet’s got a gun Not a Perfume a couple years ago when it was on sale. While I liked it on me, when my teen granddaughter tried it, it smelled amazing on her.
