I tried not to get too excited when I saw the Rowe v Wade decision this morning because I believe it is another way they are trying to divide us. I had a discussion with a Messianic Rabbi in which I spoke of the times when we might be tortured/killed if we do not bow down to a false god. He said that if our life was being threatened that G-d would "not mind" if we didn't bow down to an idol in order to save our life. I was too dumbfounded to mention Shadrach, Meshach. and Abednigo, Daniel. In 2 Kings 5:18 bowing to idols is also mentioned and I am not sure why Elisha responded as he did. Should loss of our life be an issue if/when we face being forced to worship an idol? We are taught to obey Adonai's law, so breaking it to save my life does not make sense to me.

It's funny that even Paul knew Psalms 103. He quoted it in Eph. 2:4 about the loving mercy of The Father . And many people use Eph. 2:8-9 to support that your deeds dont matter and/or that your works are basically meaningless to The Creator . But in verse 10 it talks about good works! Lolz.
