The real damage is probably 78, because strike characters have a passive damage boost(like denki doing 91 or 95 per shot)

​@Red_sønico Yeah red characters have a damage boost but since red bakugo is the only red character that's on your team in solo training it's the true damage, whether it's on yellow or not will affect it same as if a kurishima has his special action in affect but yellow characters act like their cards are in effect as a passive same as reds and blue teammates make you passively faster and purples lower cooldowns slightly not as much as a card I think but yeah

Fun fact: Red Shigi's beta now counters Hawks' beta! Found this out in Charismatic's video. Basically, Hawks' can't enter Red Shigi's beta using his beta. Just something to keep in mind if you'll do a Hawks vid showcasing his nerf or another Red Shigi video (which is always welcome in my books).

i still get why devs nerfed him (and by association tech shoto, endeavor, and mirio) since the devs were hyping up hawks (specifically his gamma wall hacks, since even jump scans team suggestion was a team of cementos, bakugo ,and hawks) they assumed that the player base would be abusing wall peircing shots with the wall hacks. But in execution people rarely use strike bakugo like that nowadays compared to s1 or even the beta tests.

yep, beta and gamma have good AOE if your aim isn't good. But still, don't neglect the alpha entirely. And make sure you're careful in your gamma usage cuz you would be leaving yourself open to attacks from third parties or if it misses/bugs

As a pro bakugo main I recommend to max beta first because howitzer impact does decent damage on all levels and his alpha is tricky to hit so it makes sense maxing beta first bcus it's his strongest move and your only way to knock down opponents to stop them from chasing you.

They didn't nerf him? They increased the reload speed. It's a translation error. Reload means it comes back faster like Endeavor's Beta from 4-8. It is worded the same exact way. So it's actually a buff.
