They Called Him a Cheater: How ropz Proved He Was a Real CS God

ropz has been through a lot.
He’s been accused of cheating, he’s had to replace one of the best players in the world, he’s gone through loss... for a guy as young as he is, he’s faced it all.
But ropz fought his way through every obstacle and forged his own path. He had to prove himself in every single way before he took his place alongside the best players in the world.

@Saval yes, it is. This may sound clichè and might not work for everyone, but it did for me. Go for a run, do yoga, meditate everyday. Take ice cold showers. Be kind, gentle, forgiving and loving. Stand up for yourself, you are worth it. Be with people who like you for who you are. Be mindful about life and the things you consume, whether it's food, drugs, media, sex, travel. Live minimalistic and with minimal waste production. Start reading more.

I was on his stream a few days ago. Someone asked how he has dealt with tilting and getting mad at the game. He said he thinks its a waste of time to tilt, and if he ever finds himself tilting, he realigns himself saying hes only hurting himself. Which is true. When you tilt, everything just starts going wrong. What a beast.

Being accused of cheating in Pro scene is basically always the same pattern. 1. There are Pro players 2. They play together and know eachother - they are the golden people 3. They play against someone new - who isn't in the golden circle - and get rekt 4. This new dude must be cheating as he is not golden circle and no-one outside golden circle can be as good as them.. 5. New guy proves he isn't cheating, joins a team, plays on lan 6. New guy becomes a member of the golden circle and is "allowed" to be better or as good as other pros Happens everywhere where cheating is a possibility, it's just the nature of humans in top positions to protect that positions integrity

Thank you. Thats not only a pro issue tho. Once you come into a fairly competitive hence smaller playerbase as the "new one" you are either a cheater or a good player. It really depends on how salty the other person is, especially after a loss, if you are actually playing legit of course.

I play a lot of fighting games, such as Soul Calibur VI etc. The key to winning is keeping your cool and not raging. And when you do lose, which happens to literally everyone, instead of raging like a little kid, you ask yourself, what could I have done differently? You check the replay, and try to improve. You're absolutely right, keeping calm will boost your skill immensely!

Actually all of pros know that someone is always better than them, if you never thought "maybe he is just better" you would never get better and your mentality would block you from even going pro. Then of course there is a other type of mentality which is thinking that you are the best no matter what which is also good for you but none of the pros in these videos were the best in the world (Like coldzera, s1mple, neo (1.6), zywoo etc.) so I dont think they never think "maybe he is just better".
