That was great! Wish I could have made it, but hopefully next year. I really liked seeing your dad recite The Ballad of Sam McGee. That was my dad's favorite, also. Those waffles sure worked out nicely on the cast iron, too! I'd been kind of leaning toward passing on the cast iron offerings, as I've been all about lightening my kit, but I'm rethinking that idea, now.

Steve, it was great reliving the moments at the 1st Annual Firebox Community Camp. I will plan to come to the next one, as we had a great time cooking up great food with great friends. I just arrived in the Manila Philippines a week ago on business and to furnish our reconstructed farm house further north. I will be here through first part of January, and looking forward to using my Nano Ti and my 2nd purchased “Everything“ Firebox Free Style Modular Stove set which I will leave here, since we come every year. Sadly I could not bring my 2nd set of Firebox ULTRA 12” Cook Kit and 3qt Billy Pot due to weight restrictions. I did ship it, but won’t arrive till mid-December. P.S. I really like the new version of the Firebox Stove website.

He has fully recovered. His urinary tract was rerouted out the back. Now he sprays to prevent urine from running down his legs.

Because of multiple blockages Levi had his urinary tract rerouted out the back which makes it difficult to put a pack on him. In an effort to not pee down his legs he sprays out the back which is not very nice to have around camp. It's a bummer but his constant appetite eventually ruined him as a pack goat.
