I think play thru starfield put its 100hrs in it then play cyberpunk afterwards, I'm doing a full playthru since they are gonna revamp so many core systems and I just wanna relive the world again and see what the mod scene is like now.

I would play star field first because I do remember how jarring and robotic the npcs felt in outer worlds after playing cyberpunk. The ways they emote and show emotion in cyberpunk is unparalleled to any other rpg.

I'm excited to start a new playthrough and then dip into Phantom Liberty when you get to that point, then back out to the main/side quests, then back and forth. Just slow and steady, milking the experience. I'm glad to hear Phantom Liberty is not set apart from the main story.

I just hope it ties in well like when it starts after doing the Pacifica quest line. I don’t want to be bombarded with side quests telling them to meet them right away like doing Johnnys quests and don’t want Hanako to be waiting at embers forever, literally the timing in game is so off sometimes a quest will take more than a day for them to call have to wait or sleep or reload, often times it’s within 20 minutes and you get a call for the next quest. Like for example just did Judy’s quest she left NC not 10 minutes later I get a text she’s saying she’s in Seattle in her van lol like what

I love they're reworking the skill trees and how equipment / cyberware works, but something that really ticks me about cyberpunk is driving around looking at the map. You get used to only look at the map and miss a lot of the visuals. I wish they did something like in the races where your gps track is laid out in the ground like a glowing path.

I ended up just turning the map off entirely and just played the game that way. I was mostly just going to my current marked objective anyway, have to say it was nice looking for visual references in the map to figure out where I was. Great for roleplaying.

they are probably referring to the options in the table top, I mean the system can only handle so much but what is included in the video game is about 10% of the cyberware options in the tabletop. Like adam smasher level modification is possible iin the table top f you have the money / government backing for example.

When I was in the speculation phase of Cyberpunk 2077, I remember making comments saying that the game wouldn't be like GTA because of the vehicle system in Cyberpunk 2020 which included vehicular combat. Years later, I'm glad that CDPR is finally getting around to it. It's about time. Lets see how many years it takes for Bethesda to turn Starfield into the game I had in my head during the speculation phase.

Cyberpunk was one of the main reasons I got a Series X on release, glad to finally be able to play the game it was meant to be. I'll happily replay from the beginning, but it would be awesome if we could experience the early days with Jackie, instead of the cutscene we got. While the game failed to meet my expectations, Night City is a beautiful place and I'm looking forward to the revisit. I hope they resume development on the multiplayer mode!

For those people who cannot afford an upgrade, I would think that it would be fair for the improved graphical options to be just an option, much like what they did on the Witcher 3 Remaster. I myself will not be able to run the game after the patch. These new specs are just way above what I can afford, but then I bought this game because I knew my system could handle it just weeks ago. A refund should be an option for those who are going to be affected, if the they do not consider those conditions.

Witcher 3 and Elden Ring each took me three weeks to complete a couple of playthroughs, and I'll assume Starfield could take the same amount of time, if not less. I believe I'll be so very ready for Phantom Liberty. I've already played the base CP2077 game thrice, and I don't think it's worth playing for a fourth time just for some updates. After all, I had high expectations when the next-gen version came out last year, but it turned out to be only a stable version for the game to run on current-gen hardware.

"now you'll have a single big skill tree, which will then incorporate those original perks" no, matty. that's not how the new skill tree works. i mean, first of all, just look at it. we've gotten a pic of the 'reflex' tree. it's like 20 icons maybe - not all three reflex tree's worth of perks. but, they've also come out and said, that they wanted to do away with a lot of the % based buffs. some of that might be in cyberware and clothing mods now, but these new skill trees aren't the old skills, plus new skills.

As awesome as it looks, I don't think the RP will improve that much. Until you can actually drink at bars, have proper romances (which suck in the base game Matty), and be able to live in the world, then no, RP won't be that great.

What's great is that I've yet to actually play and see the game for myself, I've still got a undownloaded copy on GOG ever since the catastrophic release because I sworn to myself I won't be playing this until they fixed it or I just moved on to another game, I know in hindsight I should of probably just refunded the game to send more of a message but I was soo soul-crushed at the time I didn't want to think about it but anyways when this update hits, I think this will be the threshold I will need to finally play the game that I had been waiting for in the almost decade it's been in development.

With how many times they've drastically changed the game and how it plays, it's basically been like buying an early access title up to this point lol. It's a shame they couldn't just be open about that from the get go. If they had done this like Larian has done BG3, for instance, I think the overall reception would have been a lot more positive.
