Great story, love to hear at least some of the land is still with the families.

Wild. Brings back memories of my Grandmaw sitting around telling us the history of who came from who, and who married who etc. God Bless Alabama.

People need to record these things told by our elders. There is so much history that is lost with them. I wish i would have recorded more of my Fathers knowledge. It seems after he died i had questions about things that are now lost.

Im 67 and after I could walk I was not only a TV Remote but a FUNKY ANNTENNA at times full of tinfoil ! That was when we got a TV in BLACK AND WHITE it came on at 6am with the pledge of allegiance and went off the air at midnight with the STAR SPANGLED BANNER ! We had CAPTIAN KANGARU back then with MISTER GREEN JEANS

Now a days a lot of things do not get done because of watching “recreational sports”! Yo me it’s a waste of time! If there’s still daylight on my days off from work there’s always something to work on outside. Either repairing, building or training (shooting)! Gotta keep being productive!!
