Dang! That's a huge piece. I get nervous just looking at it. You're braver than I am. 👍

Yeah. A bummer, but not much you can do about it after the fact. I'm glad to see you show a good example of having something go wrong, and not letting it totally get you down. More people need that nowadays, especially kids. Experiencing failure is good because then when you experience success, it's so much better.

Don't feel too bad. Some original points made thousands of years ago come with hinges. Even the old ones of years past had this problem. It's still a masterpiece. 2 points now to do, great job no matter how you Knapp it.

That piece had a lot going on structually and I`m sure you saw it. Nonetheless you can make two pretty good points now. Did you mention if the rock was heat treated or not? It seemed to be un-treated or wouldnt have been as brittle? You could treat the pieces you have to help finish them off?

😂 But ugly Quartz Just guessing. You like that because it's cheap. Certainly not because it's pretty.😂

This is the first time I've seen you break something at all in the 3 years I've been watching you. The ratio of breakage is what I use to break down proficiency, kind of to tell myself whether I'm doing good in the craft or not. If you can make several without breaking a single one, that's when you know fs that you're good at it. I always tell myself that if you can pump out 20 before breaking one, than your getting close to becoming a master. Anyone reading this, don't take my word too personally, as I do it to get myself to strive for the highest of the high in craftmanship. Just cause one can't pump out that many without breakage doesn't mean you haven't mastered it, as masters still break things quite often. 🫡
