Thanks for the update! The ability to refresh a media folder in your project to add files you've added to your hard drive is FANTASTIC. I know it's just one update, but, it's a pretty big one for me.

That media bin resync is such a no brainer!! FINALLY. hopefully we get images, music, sounds etc. and it looks pretty fast when you hit R to refresh.. like can't they just make that automatic when you click into the bin?

To be clear though I've always thought it should be part of the program. And before I knew about SuperBins I was looking for a feature like that. and I feel like if they do it right which they probably will it will be better. So I'm still excited. but I still think SuperBins is worth it in the meantime and it works another programs. and the developer makes some really good presets and other add-ons and such that are worth picking up for free for paid and I just like supporting.

I downloaded the latest version 2 days ago, when I loaded it there was a message that said my GPU drivers did not support CUDA 12.6 I feared the worst. Fortunately Nvidia had created a new driver just two days previously. So thank you Nvidia for supporting my old GTX1070 👍

This is one of my favourite batches of features. I use the Film Look Creator a lot, so having more flexibility is great. The performance impact from superscale made me limit its use, now I can be a bit more generous. Resync will be super helpful as well. Great! Thanks for covering these, Alex!

Love the Resync media feature so much. I usually get used to work with "Session" feature on Capture One, which update Pictures in Session folder in real time. I'm glad it's now also on Davinci Resolve, and excited to see how this feature improve in the future.

Completly overlooked the re-sync feature. Thanks for pointing it out. One thing I've been looking at is the Transcribe as nested clip feature. Didn't see any details on this but seems I can now transcribe Multicam clips without it crashing.

You can add your own film stock sets using the Dehancer plugin for DaVinci. But its a paid install.

On the left hand side of each track, there's a small icon on the far left side. Like an up and down arrow with a line in the middle, click that. You'll get bigger waveforms. Also if you click the Timeline Options button, and then enable "Trim To Audio', when you do any trimming of clips, you'll get an ever biggerer waveform.

Big fan of the new changes, but since using the 19.5 beta I've not been able to auto sync audio files with cameras, they just don't line up correctly anymore or if they do the waveform is all over the place.

@MrAlexTech Do you think you can get Blackmagic Design to do two things? 1) include an option to update the iPad version to 19 (even if Beta), and 2) at least include a "Save As previous version" like 18.6. I am reluctant to try the beta on my main PC because I like to split my workload across my network, and I can't open a V19 file on the 18.6 iPad version. I only have V19 on my Microsoft Surface Pro, which is much slower than my iPad Pro.

super bins done me good for years but I've never understood why this wasn't a native feature. For those that don't know Superman's is a $50 lifetime license app that will synchronize all your folders in whatever editor you're using.

Hey Alex, interesting about the new SDR to HDR function for Nvidia cards, would be interesting to see a video about this and how it works and how the color management should be set for this function. Nvidia added this in thei windows app too for games, you can play SDR games in HDR, i didnt tested this but some peeps says is doing a fantastic job!! And about the upscaling, what 2x or 4x means in the superscale, which is better? This option is like DLSS in games i suppose!

I have a question I'd like to ask your help with. I have the studio version beta 5 but I barely know how to use this software. TBH, I mainly use the edit page to make clips for my holiday digital displays. I have a clip I downloaded that's about 1 minute long that's just a snowman's face ( big white circle with eyes, carrot nose, etc. ) I want to basically get rid of the face, keep the big white circle, and then add an effect of a " snowman's " face ( that I know how to do ) singing various Christmas songs so I can project it onto the side of my house. Ideally I'd like to have the traditional 3 stacked snowballs but I'd be ok with just the 1 looking like it's singing. It's already on a black background so I just need help/shown how to remove the facial features that are in the clip now so I'm left whit just a big white circle that I can add the facial feature clips I already have. If there's any way you could help/do a quick video on how to do something like this id really appreciate it. I know nothing about the fusion page since I basically stay on the edit page. Or if you can just recommend a video to watch to help that would be appreciated too. Thanks in advance. And BTW, I've purchased a few of your plugins because your stuff is amazing.

How can I see in Resolve which new content is loaded during "Resync Media Files"? It may be that I have collected clips etc. over a longer period of time and don't know exactly what they were. It would be enough if all media that have not yet been used in the timeline are automatically marked.

There's still no option to update/reload changed media? that's a shame. Say I changed a PNG in illustrator, currently Resolve doesn't recognized the changed file, and keeps using the old file that was overwritten outside of DR.

I find superscale unusable since it does the entire clip in your media pool. I think it would be so much better if it only did it on a clip you edit in the timeline, so you can do a crash zoom into it. I don't want all that processing done on the entire clip if I don't need to. Anywhere else you are using parts of that clip will be suddenly zoomed in once you enable it for a clip somewhere else. It just seems dumb to me.
