Why they not use a pump with the flood water? In Europa all pumps can use salt sea and sweet river or water pipe system water! Only the american US pumps need fresh water - so sad 😟🤔

They don't NEED fresh water... they probably don't have any portable pumps, and they wouldn't be able to run an engine in the flood waters. Any rural department would have portables and they'd be using the flood water for sure.

Um why not just tie a float to the supply and uses the pumper to flow it onto the fire. Drop a Dr apt hose in and then hook to the engine.

Yup cause they're gonna splash around in the water to put out the fire. No a pump would not work it's not enough velocity pressure.
