How is someone supposed to serve 7 life services? That literally makes no sense.
@suungjinu4 ай бұрын
@@Rolkey Receiving 7 life sentences means that the individual is sentenced to serve multiple life terms consecutively or concurrently, depending on the jurisdiction's interpretation and legal system. 1. **Multiple Life Sentences**: The person is convicted of multiple serious offenses, each warranting a life sentence. The sentences may be served either concurrently (at the same time) or consecutively (one after the other). 2. **Consecutive Sentences**: If the life sentences are consecutive, the person will serve each life term one after the other. For example, if each life sentence is 25 years and they're served consecutively, it would amount to 175 years in total before the individual could potentially be eligible for parole, assuming parole is even an option. 3. **Concurrent Sentences**: If the life sentences are concurrent, the person serves them simultaneously. In this case, the practical effect is that the person would only be serving one life sentence at a time, but the multiple sentences may reflect the severity of the crimes and serve as a form of legal and symbolic punishment. 4. **Legal and Symbolic**: Multiple life sentences often serve both a practical purpose (ensuring the individual remains incarcerated for a very long time) and a symbolic one (emphasizing the gravity of their crimes). Overall, while the idea of receiving multiple life sentences might seem redundant, it serves to reflect the seriousness of the crimes and ensure that the individual will remain in prison for the rest of their life, especially if the sentences are consecutive.

@@tutnod2449a life sentence doesn't mean you're in jail for life necessarily. You have to serve the minimum term, maybe 15-20 years before you can be eligible for parole. But if you have good behavior, then you actually can still get out after that term is up. If you're sentenced to 7 life terms, then that minimum duration would be multiplied by 7... So in other words, he has life without chance for parole
@tutnod2449 Жыл бұрын
@@austinmaiden4663 If a "life sentence" doesn't mean a "life sentence" then new vocabulary needs to be used to describe what the sentence actually is. It's dumb to call for somebody to serve more than 1 life sentence when nobody is going to live past the 1 life they have. Nobody committing an act deserving of a life sentence deserves parole. Again, change the vocabulary to mean what the sentence actually means.

@Logan Roof I’ve heard this so many times now hah, people like you, saying “ This person or that should die because their gay, because their color, because of this and that “ y’all are actually insane if you aren’t trolling. And if you are ‘joking’ shame on you. These are real people with individual lives most likely more meaningful than yours if you’ve come so low to wish your own kind death. Learn some humility.

Only in USA vicious murderes are called gentle. I have visited and worked in 17 different states in USA. Except for cyclists and people in Galveston everybody have been nice. I have the utmost respect of the police. I have only been in contact with USA police twice. They really deserves respect. My condolences to the family of Ashley Guindon. Never again will I go to USA. What is happening? Please wake up.
