Spray foam is called pond & stone - it’s non toxic (even for fish) and also forgot to mention I plugged up the front vent holes with hot glue & the top wire holes so no future babies escape 😛

Hey awesome video!! (As always!) Is the spray foam safe for tarantulas and snakes (reptiles) as well?? PS: You were the inspiration for all my current tarantula slings! :)

This was a very good job... it looks amazing... I would LOVE to see you build an enclosure for a jumping spider made to look like a little living room... with tiny chairs... tiny coffee table... end tables... tv... and then another enclosure with a tiny bed... dresser... things that go into a bedroom... and of course a kitchen enclosure... a bathroom enclosure.... a garage enclosure... a place that looks like a tiny playground.... a highway.... a garden... you know... everything we can see... just miniature size...LOL I have to tell you that I am so afraid of spiders... EXCEPT of course jumping spiders... after seeing tons of cute videos of these cute little critters I am 100% sold on them... in fact. I want one... sooo bad.... I will find one this spring... and while I am waiting to find one I plan on making an entire miniature house enclosure for the little one... maybe just one room of a house... but something like I would love to see you do for the jumping spiders... While I am 100% sold on jumping spiders I can't ... and believe I can never ever find any of the other spiders comfortable... I can never be comfortable around them... I can say ONLY BECAUSE OF WATCHING YOUR VIDEOS... I do have a different outlook on spiders... and like I said I will never have an ounce of any comfort level around them... I just have a more positive outlook on them... I've never gone out of my way to kill a spider... never... but I do have 3 stories of killing spiders that have haunted me long before I ever found your page... I'm not going to tell you what happened... but I feel so bad about it... so horrible bad... and like I said.. I've always felt bad... but now I feel worse... I've always known spiders are so important to us and in the world.... and again never went out of my way to kill a spider just to kill it... I've never just looked for spiders just to kill them... Anyway... I have of course subscribed to your channel.. I love watching your channel and I can't thank you enough for your videos and the things I have learned about siders... EGGS WITH LEGS... never heard that before but now I of course know what they are... and what they look like.. so I o love learning from you... Thanks again for teaching me.... for teaching many people... I've seen a lot of comments where you have helped people overcome intense fear... as I said... we still have it... but it isn't intense as it once was... LOL Thank you so much for all you do to teach people about these amazing creatures...

I had a booming colony once, as long as you provide good nutrition, cull off runty animals, and periodically add new roaches to your colony every so often, you will have a thriving colony.

I do not think it's a good idea! Since they defecate too much and content things inside the tank, it becomes very difficult to clean them and that would lead to the formation of bacteria due to humidity. I have several colonies of cockroaches of different species and I keep them as simple as possible to do and. to keep them as healthy as possible.

I'm so sad it's illegal to own any kind of roach as a pet where I live. I remember holding one of these as a kid when an exotic animal trainer came to entertain us and they were too cool. I also love that they sound like a spray bottle, like they're trying to correct you. XD

They are gorgeous! In my experience all large Bugs I had on me are scratchy just trying to hold on.😆 May Bugs, large Dragonflys are quite heavy. One of most stylish Roaches I saw recently where Emerald Roaches. A Friend hoses some of his Hissers with his very tiny Geckos. The ones he has are calm and scavenging so the Geckos are safe and ok with it. Even the Eggs they lay all around are untouched by the Roaches.

I love my Hissing Beatle, Dubia Beatle, and Giant Cave Beatle colonies. The word Roach has so much negativity, when I use the word Beatle everyone is curious to see them. If I use the word roach everyone is grossed out. Roaches need a better marketing team, until then I will call them magickal Beatles.

I love the new inclosure. I have had hissing cockroaches for years, and I really love them. I have also brought some of them to the kindergarten where I work and the kids all love them. It’s the males who have the little horns and the kids only hold the males because the females will sometimes push out and leave the rod of eggs and nymphs that they carry inside their belly if they get stressed which often leads to dead nymphs.
