what some people might not understand is the MOTIVATION for training in the anime world -if the anime world has game mechanics: the dopamine rush of "number go up" would push a lot of people to work at it not to mention that potential glitches and exploits may exist that people of the world couldn't reasonably hash out with their logic - you isekai: if you isekai as a child - preteen then you would essentially be doing your formative years over again and removing modern distractions would force most people to adapt meaning you'd likely have no choice but to work hard as most setting cant accommodate a modern neet and remaining as one even in high society has a high chance of getting you killed or put in an even worse situation

What I’m finding from digging through nyentai and finding their Twitter, is that a bunch of content may have been licensed by Fakku… gonna do a bit more research on that. EDIT: yep, Fakku hit the nyentai site with takedown notices on stuff, so they had to purge the site of anything Fakku could claim.

To answer why the purge happened: Fakku. Specific authors had their works removed because Fakku is now publishing them and nhentai has a sort of gentlemen's agreement not to host anything that they end up grabbing. All of Asanagi and Akatsuki Myuuto are gone too.

Not just Fakku, Irodori established a US company for localizing their artist's works. They actively monitor known sites to send DMCAs. It was only a matter of time before they learned about nhentai. I'm not sure why Asanagi got removed, though. Most of those are all still up on e-hentai.

About the dungeon Meshi one... You have to remember, that dungeon is absolutely massive. Going throught one floor a day would be idiotic. That would mean ignoring monsters, not stopping to eat or rest, ignoring traps. That would also means getting weaker because of the lack of rest and food. They are already going pretty fast, but it isn't explained well in the anime.

5:50 I've not watched the second season (I've heard that it's not as good), but what's odd is that in either the web novel or light novel, she maintains her role as a nuisance villain, and even escalates things. SPOILERS At one point she sides with a rival nation even in the midst of the waves and ends up having the queen assassinated. The king begrudingly allies with Naofumi to take her down. (I think she then manages to side with Glass and Co. only to betray them for her own goals, but again is taken down and this time killed and her soul eaten.) It then turns out that she's the self-insert of a demi-goddess, and is upset that she's not the main character and that she couldn't play in this world as she pleased (and that her meddling in the cause of the waves), and that she had to pit the heroes against each other as they're the only thing that could stop her. (I think Naofumi is actually sent back to Japan at some point and resigns himself to stay there seeing no way back.)

Interestingly the Library of Alexandria got burnt *3* times (or more). The first was Caesar accidentally getting the backup for the backup for the main library burnt (he just made a slight slip up by having a ship too close to the storeroom during a battle and it burnt and spread the flame). The other two times were both because of Abrahamic BS. One was basically the Christians and Jews in the area getting into a Kristallnacht (can't remember which side was trying to burn the other alive) and resulted in the burning of several of the backups storerooms and possibly some of the main storerooms too. And the other was when a Caliphate conquered the city and when they realised that they didn't have enough firewood, the Caliph said "Burn the books. If they contain truth, then it is in the Quran, if they contain information that is not in the Quran it is false and thus worthless". Caesar got all the blame... Anyway, Fakku holds the licences for almost Everything that was taken down, but I can't think of any reason that'd be related or important, and I'm definitely not suggesting that NH didn't destroy the archives entirely of their own volition or anything...
