When you said "that illusory power to make a difference" that really resonated with me. That's such a strong impulse, to influence others, especially when we think we are sharing something good and beneficial...but we really can't be sure, can we? My daughter recently pointed out that I share nutritional advice as though it were fact, so I'm grateful she told me that, providing a mirror for me. Thank you too for the reminder. P.S. For what it's worth, I much prefer seeing your expressive face, without background music. I had to follow along with the transcript because I was distracted somehow. 🤷🏼‍♀️

Hey I've got a question, even though everything is in a flow sort of predetermined state, do you think everything we do in a non acceptance mind or body is resistance against it? Or do you think its more like somethething happens (predetermined) then there is space for consciecousness to do something(observe, identify etc), and based on what consciousness decides to do pre dertimes the next moment in reality?

And maybe in identifying with it or getting stuck in it (like mind) we cause resistance. Where as observation, without attachment is like acceptance so no resistance. Maybe this resistance also changes our next course of action or orientation in time and space. What is your opinion?

Or is it a matter of absolute surrender in the sense that even our awareness and consciousness is meant to be in a particular place in time and space, and free will is the ability to control this consciousness but ultimately it causes resistance and or miss orientation?

You determine as much as a wave determines the flow of the sea. And consciousness "chooses" to the same degree the sea "chooses" to be sea.

@sunyateaching I don't really understand. Are you saying everything is predetermined? And if so how can one form resistance if that was what was meant to be (predetermined). By the way are you taoist? I really like Taoism, it seems to work better for me than Buddhism

I am awareness, the same as you. No ists or isms. Just is-ness. The mind will never understand. But YOU know… 🙏

OK so a person is being abused they do not deserve more ? Kids on poverty do not deserve more or be fed or their parents abusing them because they are scared which makes them angry because they feel bad because they cannot give them what their friends have or food I have seen it what your saying is harder to do than say
