"I am not the mind, I am not even the body." (Sadhguru meditation). This state takes practice to do and accept

I enjoyed this as always Sunya ❤ thank you. not a great deal of though arose here. However, lots of things were noticed. a trembling in the arms and hands which may indicate some tension or anxiety about the surrender. A pleasant pulsing in the middle of the chest upon exhale (possibly heart chakra) aches and pains In the body seem to become more apparent. Which I'd assume are always there but muted under the distraction of life. Sometimes I find that meditation brings more awareness and the mind grabs it and becomes fearful. Have you heard any of this before in your experience? What would your teacher have said in response to what is being described?

Yes the mind has fear. You are the awareness that observed it. It fears its own ending. But the mind doesnt stop. Just realize you are not it and you rise above it

Thank you, that was very pleasant. It reminded me of something that happened last year. I was working with a naturopathic doctor for a health issue and in her lengthy questionnaire I mentioned that I meditated twice daily. A few months later, she made an off-hand remark that once I resolved my health issue, maybe I wouldn't have to meditate twice a day. It rubbed me the wrong way at the time, but like most things that bother us, it held a truth. Funny how unlikely teachers can pop up in unexpected contexts. I understand your message here: You don't need to "do" meditation when living itself is an ongoing meditation (state of awareness). 😊

To surrender or to be greatfull for everything, or to get rid of desires, which cause suffering...... untill it happens naturally after "awakening", its the ego playing its games to make it stronger
