There’s two types of people: people who think it’s the goty and people who haven’t tried ufo 50

and people who prefer non indy titles, prefer non pixel games, non 2D games, they are out there, they aren't me but they exist

I have at least 3 friends that are console only gamers and don't have enough free time anymore to keep up with PC releases the way I do. I will be buying each of them a copy of UFO 50 the day it releases on Switch and Playstation. As awesome as this game is, we're only scratching the surface with it being Steam only for now. Once it's available to the wider public, so many people are going to fall in love, and revive all these conversations we're all having right now about the likes of Party House and Mini & Max. Absolutely monumental achievement, and the clearest Game of the Year that I've had in many years. 110 hours in and I still have like 15 games I haven't tried yet! Thank you all so much for the hard work on these games, you've absolutely carved yourselves out a legacy to be so proud of, just with this one release alone.

When is this available on Console?
@ayobmedz2 ай бұрын
@doopness785 it hasn't been announced as coming to consoles at all yet, but I figure with how well it seems to be doing critically (and hopefully financially) that it would be a no brainer choice for a port. It especially seems well suited for the Switch, the way everything vaguely feels inspired by old Nintendo consoles (among others of course)

Cheers to the whole team for making this incredible project! The final result turned out even better than my wildest expectations.

Amazing interview! There’s so much interesting insight here, and it’s clear that Trent is genuinely interested in UFO 50 and the developers

Interesting to hear a bit more about the development process and experiences. I'm enjoying listening to the Eggplant UFO50 podcast, where they're playing one game a week, and discussing it in detail. Interesting project. :D
