They made a new JJK game and its awful. Jujutsu kaisen cursed clash has finally released and even though I can play as yuji, gojo, or even yuta the game still seems like it has a long way to go to being fun....

I bought two copies because my wife and I were excited at the idea of a 2v2 game based on our favorite new gen. Now were actually really enjoying it and i have a group of friends that all are playing it and having fun, but it could definitely do with some improvements. Faster recovery, more combo potential, and a side of SPLITSCREEN would be nice. Cause as is, when you have a match between players who understand the characters and matchups it becomes insanely fun and tactical. Such a shame bandai didnt give these guys more time to cook, and a bigger budget

@@StrawHatCentral funny thing is I would argue the game itself is not bad. There are so many interesting gameplay opportunities in the combat itself. Every match at higher level play is essentially a chess match with the other players. In many ways it really emulates what JJK battles are in the manga and anime. Just way slower paced. What's here is actually really good at its core just not refined. I truly believe the game itself is good, but just too different and technical for the majority of players who are used to a casual Storm style arena fighter. There's nothing wrong with Storm's style mind you, it's just a breath of fresh air to have a new kind of arena fighter

It banks on the fandom wanting to play as these characters and they do enough to make sequels. 3. My gf made me watch JJK, for context, I hate anime, I actually really liked JJK, and when I saw JJK game I immediately got it, extremely disappointed, terrible voice-acting, copy-paste lazy and boring story, dull and extremely repetitive gameplay, the whole game is the same mission over and over and over again, I really wish we had gotten a good JJK game… and the potential is extremely big since it’s an anime, hope we get something good in the future

Man, idk if I'm just looking through a nostalgia glasses, but I think that older anime games had more passion than these newer entries. I remember staying up all night trying to beat Kid Buu in Budokai Tenkaichi in my cousin's house. How doing a spirit bomb on a certain part of the map will cause the world to "end" and the whole area becoming a barren apocalyptic wasteland. Or how you can't beat Orochimaru as the 3rd Hokage in Naruto Ultimate Ninja unless you finish him off with the reaper death seal. Older games just have something more to them.

I agree with the fact that it probably LOOKS worse than those but I don't think graphics make a game better. My friend had storm connections and I watched his gameplay, it was a mess. The only decent CC2 game was demon slayer imo but they ruined it by making the balancing shit. FighterZ around season 2 to 3 before gogeta was alright, then it got shit. Every character is stupid broken and matches seem to be going based on luck. I've noticed a pattern of Arcsys making toxic mechanics very often, there is some in GG, many in FighterZ and there were some even back in kill LA kill if. There's that and the fact that 2d fighting games feel like reskins of each other, there will never be enough variety for me to buy a 2D fighter unless they actually start trying to make the gameplay different instead of making the graphics HD. I don't wanna continue yapping tho that's all ☠️

@@RandomGuy-xg8bp yea i understand what you are saying. I do think that this game has a pretty good variety of gameplay, the problem for me is really polishiment. In the end it goes to your personal taste, i prefer a cool flashy animation over a balanced experience, i dont care for meta stuff i just play the game with the characters that i have fun with and learn how to counter the problematics one. Maybe if i actually play instead of watch the game is better than it looks, but ima wait for a 30 dollar sale or smth like that.

You can turn off the guide in settings. The map is there to show you who’s locked on to you and obviously location of players. Not that I use it enough.

I give it a 5/10 or 6/10. Co-op is way better than multi imo. Multi is just spammers using nobaras busted kit 75% of the time (for me at least). The lack of characters, stages, variations(weather effects, day and night, etc). Also for the tiny amount of characters they have, there is little vocal or unique team combo variation for team ups. Im very sad that they gave this less effort that storm connections, and that game made me lose faith in newer anime games. This game solidified im not buying anymore until i get my hands on Sparking Zero.

personally im enjoying the game, but i can't deny that the game is objectively a scam, £50 for a power point presentation with a few of the easiest fights i have ever played in a story mode plus an online that doen't work properly and slow combat. I still somehow enjoy it but this game should be no more than £20.
