Why would we want to hear about a fan film with an interesting plot, good acting and high quality production values when we can get angry and focus our outrage on low quality garbage? The first thing Shuri says in the original film is this cringe meme quote "WHAT ARE THOSE". Then the next thing she does is somehow smugly criticize the way Vision's brain is designed because she's that much smarter than tony stark and bruce banner. @Martyisruling15 сағат бұрын
I did enjoy it when it came out. Though the last fight had terrible effects, you can even see them plain as day on the small screen. Most of the typical stuff we see in Hollywood came from the villain. Even Wakanda itself was criticized and stereotyped the Jabari, so it wasn't all aimed in one direction. Time has not been kind to Black Panther. After Infinity War, where Suri had the dialogue where she criticizes Tony and Banner for Vision's design and Banner just says, "Cuz we didn't think of it " THEY didn't design Vision. Ultron designed him as a body for HIMSELF and never intended for the stone to be removed. The doubling down in Wakanda 2 and entertainment as a whole, all made any of that stuff unbearable.

There can be another good reason why Disney is doing this: Blackrock. Supposedly (rumored), Blackrock was offering a lot of money to Disney when it came to the earlier films, often paying financial credit to Disney when it came to displaying "Diverse" actors. Because Wakanda is almost all but diverse to them, Disney made a lot of money without having to pay much to create the films. Disney might be trying it again, seeing the film as an easy cash grab. Even if the film does more poorly than the last two Black Panther films, Disney can still make something out of it. For now, it's a ship that's sailed. I loved Black Panther (in fact, I think Black Panther is underrated), and Endgame did a good job finishing up MCU, but I've lost a lot of interest in anything else past that. Past phase 3 is just walking around a desert, hoping to find an oasis.

Image, just image if it was decided to replace Boseman's Black Panther with Michael B. Jordan. That we discover that Boseman's Panther saved Michael B. Jordan's Killmonger off screen at the end of the first Black Panther, cause that is what heroes do. So the movie starts with Michael B Jordan in a Wakandan super max prison and he hates Panther....for saving him, especially for what Panther says is the reason, 'I believe deep down you are worth it.' Killmonger says he will kill Panther and his secret reason is of his own self hatred and someone seeing worth to him other than as killer. In this Killmonger discovers Panther is dead and the movie is his redemption arc and becoming the hero...that Black Panther Boseman's saw in him. With the movie being Killmonger escaping to find out what actually happened to Boseman's Panther and in the end become new Panther to honor him. Cause I am sucker for a redemption arc.

Still won’t do, especially after his appearance in Gladiator 2. He simply doesn’t have the star power he had 20 years ago, and most definitely won’t save Disneys butt!!!😂

A name like Denzel "accidentally" teasing BP3? Yeah, right. That's on purpose.

the Black Panther/T’Challa is a long established character from the Lee & Kirby Fantastic Four period from the 1960’s,it’s unfortunate about the passing of the original actor in the role but it should have been recasted, the character was featured in a number of comic series way before the first MCU film,he became a member of the Avengers and married Storm of X- Men fame among previous content 🤔

I don’t know why they want to make movies with these be rated characters. Their comics don’t sell, so why would their movies? Also, at one point, you couldn’t make a bad Marvel movie. Now everything they release is trash. They’ve gotten a reputation, and people just don’t want to waste their money.

I hear you on the T'Challa options... My understanding is making Shuri the BP was handed down by Disney and Mr. Coogler had to deal.

The best thing that people can do, it's not see another superhero movie, not even talk about those movies, when the studios watch the letdown, they will not even care make another hero movie.

Unless Denzel is playing T'Challa, and the last one is completely retconned out, this will bomb.

Disney should be leasing these IP's to studios who can make movies or just sell it before it becomes as worthless as SW

I still haven't bothered with the 2nd one. I don't know why they even made it. You wouldn't make a Spider-man movie about Aunt May and Mary Jane.

Where'd you get the idea that T'challa died of the flu? They never specify what his illness was, but it was implied to be something terminal. I think the implication he was suffering from cancer, like his actor, but they thought it would be in poor taste if they died in the exact same manner, so they kept it vague.

Hey Dave, been a long time fan watching you since your computing forever channel. I bought a paperback copy and looking forward to reading it. Awesome achievement and keep up the great work man.

The involvement of Denzel is huge. BP3 will be pretty good if he’s in it for the whole film. He’s a massive worldwide actor who is always well above average in every role he does. I’m quite intrigued by this. I think a lot of the public at large will take a look at how this goes.

To some it seems that with Chadwick being T'Challa is the same as RDJ being Tony Stark. They're unseparable.

I still can't believe that Dr. Strange in the Multiverse of Madness was made by the same director of Spider-Man 2. Which is still one of my favorite comic book movies.

Good... the longer he's busy with Marvel digging a hole he can't be rebooting TXF. That reboot needs to be over before it even starts.... i really hate what hollywood has become. 🙄

I think the reason movies like Capt. Marvel and Black Panther did so well was because they were part of a an overall story arc. Neither one of those movies looked appealing to me but I watched them because I was afraid I would miss something in the story involving over 20 movies that ended with endgame. Haven't cared about anything else since Endgame.

Black Panther may have a shot if they’re going with earlier periods like the founding of Wakanda by King Bashenga, the first Black Panther. Then the next movie a few years later they can coronate T’Challa’s son who is also named T’Challa
@THEAdmiralXizor10 сағат бұрын

You can’t have Wakanda without a protector. I am wondered what would have happened if M’Baku as the protector to do a version of Man-Ape.

Someone pitched a third film and someone else said yes. I'd pay money to see studio executives and higher ups having the long talk with film makers and all others responsible for the financial failures we've seen in the past few years. It would be more entertaining than the slop that they put into theaters.

Don’t believe for a second that the first BP earned over a billion? Definitely some creative accounting and skullduggery going on there, and the biggest giveaway was its Oscar nomination for best picture??? 😂
