I am a 21 year retired Army veteran, who loves this hobby! Before my girlfriend and I moved in together, I had a house with 32 aquariums! I was breeding several types of African Cichlids. I also had several aquariums with south, and Central American Cichlids. I know this hobby isn't for everyone, but I know it has helped me greatly, and still does as I continue my journey as a Corrections officer for the state of Pennsylvania. The stress that some endure while at work can be mitigated by viewing the awesome environment we create and maintain for our aquatic friends. I really enjoy helping others get into the hobby. Thank you KG Tropical for recognizing, a hero in many different ways.

I’ve been a nurse for over 20 years. I am disabled now. They aren’t sure If it’s neurological or due to stress/anxiety/PTSD. I have two fish tanks and love the hobby. It calms me. Almost like hypnotic or meditation. I will definitely be looking into this man’s KZbin. Thank you guys for changing your content to these videos. I absolutely love it. Great video! My son served in Afghanistan. I think the calming effect of water and fish is great for military. I know for me and being disabled my aquarium is a place I can go without leaving the house and have a peaceful experience. 🙏🏻👏👏
