@@alvinbrown5039 Why would Islam not still hold the beliefs it had before? If it's a religion from God and the last religion, perfected until the end of time, it should still be practiced the same. A religion from God means it is appropriate for all time and into the future because of course, God knows the future and legislates accordingly. Christianity not believing that is because it doesn't actually follow the teachings and practices of Jesus, at least not after the third century. Christians before that time DID believe in that as they were Torah-practicing Jews, like Jesus. Jesus believed in and followed Mosaic law which called for killing people for particular crimes. The Bible says to kill those who call to another religion even if they be your own family members. If Jesus is God and that is from God, that is what Jesus said. You mean Christians today don't spread or believing in killing. Historically, Christians did believe in and use violence with each other, fighting each other bloodily even disagreeing on who Jesus was (why didn't they know, where was the proof?), they spread their religion through violent and coercive means, even almost killing the Jews out of existence due to the hostility of the gospel writers. If Jesus taught non-violence and turning the other cheek, that message was surely lost rather quickly after him. Makes more sense he didn't and seeing as how turning the other cheek is something Matthew said, we can't verify that's true. Matthew was known to invent stories about Jesus. It was only after Christianity was spread around the world through edicts, with threats of violence and death, through coercion, slavery, wars, etc, that they adopted the doctrines of peace, loving your neighbor, turning the other cheek which in reality was really doing nothing at all as they abandoned the religion being Christian in name only with no real practice.

There is nothing in the Quran where you will be killed for leaving Islam. Culture is so predominant in these Arab/ muslim countries. Please quote where in the Quran they see this. Also women in Islam were given rights long before the West. They were allowed to own property, get divorce, get educated etc. I can see how people can believe otherwise with how men treat women but this is not the Islamic way. I respect all religions so I will not talk about the religion issue because I am not biased, so I will explain to you from a demographic point of view why the U.S. or Latin America or some countries in Europe won't become majority muslem countries. The U.S. has a diversified immigration. Most of the immigrants to the USA come from Christian countries nowadays (Latin America and the Caribbean, the Philippines, some countries from East or Southern Europe and a little bit from Nothern Europe and from Christian African countries, too) . Hispanics are almost 20% of the USA population now if you include Puerto Rico. Very few muslems immigrate to Latin America. In Europe, Spain and Portugal have a strong immigration from countries of Latin America and under a special law they can become citizens of Spain in two years. Besides, many people from Latin America have parents or grandparents who came from Spain so they can get a Spanish passport. Actually, many Cuban-Spanish and Venezuelan- Spanish and Argentinian -Spanish are moving to Spain now so, it wont happen in Spain either. There are far more posibilities that the USA becomes a partially hispanic country than a muslem country in a non-too-distant future. In conclusion, no, muslem won't become the majority in 30 years in the USA and many countries will remain almost completely Christian and the USA will remain a majority Christian country for many, many years. And religion makes no a person bad, but his or her actions make them bad.

Christians believe justice is left up to God since we are not just. Thou shall not murder remember? You talk about division, of course there is division in everything, that’s why we needed a savior! God knows we are broken by imperfection and sin! That is why he offers us forgiveness and mercy. Did you not read about Jesus and the Samaritan? Did he stoned him then? He helped as symbol of love, mercy and unity. Living an example of God’s endless love for all people. Another thing, if your country is sanctioned it’s because your country is defiant to practicing human rights. You come to the west because you want a form of freedom from oppression yourself. We believe that he had designated his cousin and son in law, Ali, and his descendants as his successor during a sermon at a pond called Ghadir. Sunnis accept Abu Bakr as the successor. After the Prophet passed away., There was a meeting at a place called Saqifah where the people of Medina were meeting regarding the succession. Believing that the Medinans were planning on seizing power for themselves, Abu Bakr, Umar and other companions rushed there. Meanwhile, Ali was busy performing the funeral rites on the Prophet. At Saqifah, Abu Bakr was elected however this was not a vote among all Muslims, only those who were there at Saqifah. Shias believe this event to be a farce and a coup that set off a chain of events that led ultimately to the Prophets grandson, and Alis son Hussain, and his companions/family being massacred at Karbala by the forces of the Ummayad caliph Yazid. The first four caliphs according to Sunnis were, Abu Bakr (elected at Saqifah), Umar (appointed by Abu Bakr), Uthman (chosen by a small council), and then Ali in an election. Almost immediately, his rule was beset by rebellion. There is a lot of history so I recommend checking out Wikipedia.

The big difference between being a Muslim and a Christian is that you are born into Islam you never had a choice to join or not to join so to punish somebody when they leave a religion that they never voluntarily joined in the first place is totally unjust especially if you think the punishment is death. For Christians the only punishment is perhaps disfellowship but people join Christianity voluntarily and they can leave voluntarily. People will lose privileges when they leave the body of Christ particularly the privilege and gift of salvation but no biblical Christian would ever consider that an apostate should be punished by Death.

Im a Christian family man /businessman with a wife of 34 years, and a grown son and daughter in the medical profession. Two grandchildren and three dogs and a Guinea pig. I've been trying to take the higher road since, the time I got saved and baptized right before getting married. I still love my Lord and savior and put them before anything, but I am also going to defend my family and myself from being attacked by whoever is under the impression that they're supposed to kill anyone who's not a Muslim" to be able to go to the place that they consider to be heaven! I did it for my country long enough, to just Have half of them to turn their back on me and other veterans who fought for their safety, freedom,and rights to be able to do what they want!
