I have a family already and I am working on a customer service industry with $8 USD pay daily for 8 hours work scheduled. It took me almost a year already but I can say that there's a progress already 😂 I got ryzen 5 3600, x570 aorus elite and trident Z neo 3600mhz. I have the same case and had the same problem vertical mounting the GPU like you did. Solution is not to screw in the plastic mount into the case... just leave it "free floating". Slide the GPU into the vertical slot where you need it and secure the GPU to the case with the GPU bracket screws. The plastic mount doesn't need to be screwed into the case in order for the GPU to be secure. Worked like a charm.
