It’s so wild he made two versions of verse two. Clean version using chicken instead of B word. And line two is different too. There’s supposed to be a line “yo look at her bush does it got hair?” and “fuck that hit that shit raw dog and bail” He’s one of the greatest for that reason. Making the same song with clean and dirty lyrics

He done it in many songs back then because the radio wouldn't play the explicit version. Nowadays they don't lose listeners for explicit versions. Nowadays people just put a stratch or something to cover the bad words. But I also guess it was not that hard for him to do it: 1) he is a freestyler, he can twist and say the same things in different ways very easily 2) he usually was high of drugs, he might not even remember writing some of these lines hehe

1. Houdini being the lead single 2. Died at 52 eminem just turned 52 like a week ago. 3. Died in Detroit 4. Most famous trick was coming back from being buried in a grave. 5. Told his wife yearly to try to contact him from beyond death in a seance. 6. Houdini died on Halloween ****7. This is a stretch but since I'm going full on insane I'll list it...Houdini was killed by a guy with the last name whitehead when he was punched and had his appendix ruptured. Bleached hair, slim shady, white head....you get it

Honestly these celebrities agents owe u a ton of thx, the way you INNERstand the music, describe the schemes , all of it. Seriously they owe u a ton of gratitude and cash for what you do for them.
@D.GhosttАй бұрын
That's a bit of a hot take. I agree that Knox is great and deserves to get paid for his hard work that shines on these videos. Plus, Eminem said he enjoys watching reactors that breakdown his schemes, metaphors, and everything else. He said he likes to watch in depth breakdowns in an interview he did with King Crook. But I think "owe" is a strong word. You could also argue that reaction channels owe the artists for helping them get popular and make good money. It goes both ways, so I think it's unfair to say that anyone owes anyone. Some artists greenlight certain channels for monetization. Then those channels make money and raise clout through reactions, while making good breakdowns or reaction videos. It's a win-win.
@katiedaley3554Ай бұрын
@@D.Ghostt Even though I think Knox is the best reactor, I suppose I really mean in general,all the reactors, what the reactor community does for the artists is very underrated and not appreciated like it should be. I think the artists who have songs that are reacted to ,should participate and show their acknowledgement of it at the least.
@D.GhosttАй бұрын
@@katiedaley3554 I think a lot if not all of the indie/YT rappers do, but most of the industry; including drill gang rappers, a-list celebs like Ye/Jay-Z, and the more generic mumble-ish rappers like Carti and Yachty live differently and aren't aware of the KZbin reactor community at all. Maybe a few do. I agree it would be nice if they did and showed some support/acknowledgment. But a few celebrity rappers like Eminem and his artists at Shady Records have praised them. Joyner and Logic have showed support. Drake and Kendrick at least acknowledged them during the beef and made the songs copyright free when they noticed the influx of reactions. Most recently was J.Cole, but he more-so dissed reactors because he felt like they were instigating beef and misinterpreting lyrics. (Which I completely disagreed with.)
@D.GhosttАй бұрын
@@katiedaley3554 Sorry for my big wall of text reply lol. The TL;DR is: I agree with you 100%. That would be great. Some artists definitely do, but some just live in a different world than us and don't even know that reaction channels exists.

God, i want my freakin' country back. The one that was sane. These people shitting on Eminem for introducing Obama at a political rally and encouraging people to vote horrify me. Y'all, none of this normal. This thing where you have to hate and insult people who don't vote the same way you do? It's new. It's horrible. It's insane. It's not normal. It's not very American, either. This is not how things are supposed to work. I know i must sound like i'm 100 years old, but seriously, wtf. The differences between the original release video and the director's cut is 2 scenes if I remember correctly is 1. get her off Brad's couch and leave her on the front porch of her mom & dad's house (scene was cut w/ Stan dropping off the girl) 2. The gun gettin cockee & shots goin off in the Grady scenario are cut and jus shows the exterior of the trailer also when Grady comes in you hear the ad lib of What the Fuck?!?

loved the chorus as a kid. But hearing the song now makes me forget how brutal the song really is. "forget getting divorce, cut this chicken's head off" as opposed to the original "fuck slittin her throat, cut this bitches head off" I wish they had the chorus on the original album.
@banksofchaos93Ай бұрын
Also this song is 1. Genius, but 2. A track that seems like it would get a lot more pearl-clutching, shock, and disgust than it seems like it has. I've listened to absolutely everything i have been able to find that Eminem has done. I'm aware of Kim and '97 Bonnie and Clyde and such. And maybe they were so shocking they just overshadowed this one. But I'm surprised i haven't heard more calls for cancellation around this one as younger audiences find out about the song referencing SA of a minor and citing Dre's real-life physical assault of a woman. Don't come at me in the comments 😂😂😂 again, i think the song is genius. I'm just saying - times have changed *a lot* where it comes to things like that. I was really surprised the first time i heard this a couple of years ago.
