Another great vid. Only other inner city locales I'd recommend visiting if you have the time would be Swan St, Richmond (bars and live music) and around the corner in Chapel St, South Yarra/Prahran (boutique shopping, most active nightlife and clubbing in Melb). Also the free Botanical Gardens and Shrine of Remembrance are a must-do as well. The weekend would be perfect weather for it. I'm still strongly recommending a Queenscliff to Sorrento car ferry day trip, the drive back up the beaches of the Mornington Peninsula is spectacular and the vibe is different enough to the Great Ocean Road that you won't feel like you're doubling up. Also definitely check out the Dandenongs -- the view of the Melbourne skyline from Mt Dandenong puts all others to shame.

I had a shop on Brunswick Street from 1996 to 2020. It had its ups and downs during those years. When I left just before covid it had alot of empty shops up the Alexandra Parade end. It seems to be gradually picking itself up. The weekends were the best as you had alot people from all over Melbourne attracted to it during the day and night, whom wouldn't because of a busy work life. Ahh memories. The graffiti would change from year to decade you would find graffiti artist or taggers at mid night doing there thing. I use to work till 11pm sometimes only to see taggers climb drain pipes to get to 2nd floor of the building. Sometimes I heard them on my own roof..
