Actually He IS a victim. He was bruised for our trespasses. And He's no fighter, yet. You'll have to wait for His second coming for that. Is He a winner? Yes. He conquered sin, death, the world, and the hearts of not just countless men, but the women and children too.

The "victim," or the "offended" is at the heart of the Gospel. Christ indeed put the focus on this by being the victim of an unjust ruling, as John Lennox said. But "he did not retaliate, rather he entrusted himself to the one who judges justly" (1 Peter 2:23). There's a fundamental principle in here in regard to faith not often discussed.

I totally agree with a forum in churches for "hurting people can talk about their everyday experiences" as so many have left through certain problems and 'gossipers' . Knowing that you can go somewhere in confidence to know you're not 'looked down on' etc... as a saying "A problem shared, is a problem halved" as sometimes, even if there's not a solution at the time, but having a shoulder to lean on, to pray together and not feeling alone. He's made a very IMPORTANT point and I hope churches start to not only think, but to implement this in their churches.

In the modern Intersectionalist victimhood model, no forum in any church will help these people. They are not looking to rejuvenate their lives free of their supposed victim inducing experiences. Rather they are attempting to thrive as a victim for some kind of victimhood boost in societal rankings. Empathy should be shown for real victims. However, any unwilling to move beyond their experiences are already lost in self pity. And given the modern Intersectionalist agenda, they have no reason to move beyond such experiences.

@@jaquicx9500 But that love is always applied within a higher context of respect for justice. Justice is what properly orders and organizes the entire context and framework, and abandoning it for the sake of something like ‘love’ is a recipe for chaos and confusion since different loves for different things will bring you to self-contradiction whenever they are at odds. Even how God acts out His love assumes a higher allegiance to justice. When mankind fell, following ‘love’ (without needing to be administered within the context of justice) would not apply the curse, and without the need to pay for the penalty justice demands, the cup could have passed from Jesus (Matt 26:39) and sins forgiven just out of love. Edit: Another way to look at it is that our highest love is to be for God, and those who love God love his Law and seek and teach others to obey what He has commanded (justice).

Since I entered politics, I have chiefly had men's views confided to me privately. Some of the biggest men in the United States, in the field of commerce and manufacture, are afraid of something. They know that there is a power somewhere so organized, so subtle, so watchful, so interlocked, so complete, so pervasive, that they better not speak above their breath when they speak in condemnation of it." I know the love God instilled in us, as we are made in his image, goes beyond our own personal relationships. Why would someone risk their own lives to save someone else, a complete stranger, from a burning car, or a fast flowing river, from any dangerous situation?. That is unconditional love. God has put that into our hearts, he has woven it into our fabric. It doesn,t make sense otherwise.

Hello. What is title for this whole talk? I see William Craig there. Id like to listen to the rest of this if you could help. Thank you. Dr. Tour, thank you for all you do in influencing others that the human nature of thought may be wrong and we should stay open to that possibility always searching for what is Truth as our perspectives do change from time to time. God bless you brother.
